Activities for today: Ta Dzong National Museum , Paro Dzong (the Rinpung Dzong) , Kyichu Lhakhang , The Ruin of Drugyal Dzong
Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you and escort you to the hotel. After lunch, visit the highlights of Paro, including the Ta Dzong, the Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang and the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort). On a clear day, you can enjoy the view of Mount Jumolhari.

Activities for today: Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest)
After breakfast, hike to Taktsang Goempa (Tiger's Nest Monastery). It takes about 1.5 hours to hike up to the viewpoint to enjoy an incredible view of this cliff-clinging monastery. After refreshments, you will continue to hike further up to the monastery, which will take about another 1.5 hours. Afterward, walk back downhill and have lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria. Later, visit Kichu temple, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

Your trek today begins from the National Museum from where the trail is rather gradual up till the camp. The trek takes 7-8 hours and the Paro valley and snow-capped mountains can be seen en-route. Above the camp you will find Jele Dzong (3,400m) with the statute of Buddha Sakyamuni.

Before the trek, you can explore Jele Dzong. Today's trek begins with a 1.5-hour climb and takes you across the Jele La Pass (3490m). The total trekking today takes 6-7 hours and you may encounter yak herders around your campsite.

The trail starts steeply leading to Jangchulakha (4,180 m). The views of the mountains and valleys are stunning on a clear day. You will arrive at the camp beside the Jimilangtsho Lake descending from the pass. There is also a great view of Jichu Drake (6,989 m in height). The total trekking today takes 8-9 hours.

Today's trek starts from the lower end of the lake and then descends to a single stone shelter, followed by an ascending trek to a summit at 4,050 m to overlook the Janetsho Lake. You may come across the local yak herder's camp and learn about their lifestyle. Camp near Simkota Lake for overnight.
The total trekking today takes 5-6 hours.

Today, the trail turns uphill and you will enjoy the majestic view of Mount Gangkar Puensum among other peaks. Later, walk downhill to a community hall near Phajodhing. Continue the trek to Thimphu through a forested area of mostly blue pine. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The entire trekking today is tough, may take as long as 9-10 hours.

After breakfast, depart for Punakha via the Dochula Pass (about 1 hour's drive), where you will have a superb view of the Eastern Himalayas on a clear day with a powerful binocular. Visit the beautiful 108 chortens built on the hill, and the Druk Wangye Temple that tells the story of a supreme warrior figure. Continue the drive and discover the Khamsum Yuley Temple en route.

Activities for today: Punakha Dzong , Chimi Lhakhang
After breakfast, visit the Punakha Dzong. Its massive Kuenray is the Coronation Hall of all Bhutanese kings, and the cantilever bridge over Mochu River has been recently renovated. Drive to Paro Valley and stop at Lobesa to visit the Divine Madman's Monastery—Chimi Lhakhang. Enjoy your lunch at a nearby cafeteria before continuing the journey towards Paro.
Note:
*Horse ride ascending to the hills when visiting to Tiger's Nest Temple is also available, but it is not recommendable as it is dangerous due to small and acclive walking path.
