Day 1  Beijing Arrival

Welcome to Beijing, China's political and cultural center. Beijing has attracted numerous tourists with its long history, and countless cultural heritages, Beijing is also the city with the most world heritage sites in the world. Whether you are visiting a magnificent palace,or traveling through the alleys, you can feel the unique charm of this city.

Your tour guide and driver will be waiting for you at the airport or train station.

Day 2  Forbidden City and Other Royal Relics
Forbidden City
The Forbidden City has a history of over 600 years, and a total of 24 emperors had ever worked and lived here. It can be said that it is the most important symbol of ancient dynasties. The Forbidden City also is the largest existing palace in the world.
Tian’anmen Square
Tian’anmen Square is the largest city square in the world. It is located on the south side of the Forbidden City, which has stood for 600 years. In 1949, the People ’s Republic of China held the founding ceremony here.
Jingshan Park
Jingshan Park use to be the Royal Garden. Ancient emperors often came here to enjoy flowers, practice arrows, hold banquets, and climb mountains. At the top of Jingshan Mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the center of Beijing.
Summer Palace
The Summer Palace is the largest and most complete garden in existence in China. It takes Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake as the main body, perfectly combines natural landscape and classical architecture. The Summer Palace is also known as the "Royal Garden Museum". Emperor Qianlong widely copied the landscape architectures across the country.

Day 3  Great Wall and Olympic Legacy
Mutianyu Great Wall
The Mutianyu Great Wall is suitable for visit all year round. In the spring, you can watch the flowers blooming, and it is a lush green in summer. Autumn is the most beautiful time due to the red maple leaves and golden ginkgo leaves. Winter’s snow view is also excellent.
Ming Tombs
Ming Tombs, the tomb complex of thirteen emperors and other royal members of the Ming Dynasty(1368 to 1644 AD)were built in 1409. It is the largest extant mausoleum complex in China and the world, with the largest number of emperors’ mausoleums.
Bird's Nest
The National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, undertook the opening and closing ceremonies, track and field competitions and football finals during the Beijing Olympics. The shape of the stadium is like a "Brid’s Nest".
Water Cube
The Water Cube, or the National Swimming Center, is the main stadium for swimming competition for the 2008 Olympics and one of the landmarks of the Beijing Olympics. At night, the Water Cube’s colorful lights are turned on, making it more crystal clear and shining.

Day 4  Beijing Half-Day Tour
Temple of Heaven
As the emperors’ worshiping place, the design concept of the Temple of Heaven was to highlight the supremacy of the "Sky". With its important cultural status and magnificent architectural style, the Temple of Heaven demonstrated China’s ancient culture of belief and was a portrayal of China’s civilization.
Hutongs
Visiting Hutongs is one of the most interesting activities in Beijing. You can hire a rickshaw to take you through the streets and alleys and ask the rider to tell the stories of these alleys. There are many famous Hutongs in Beijing, and each has its own characteristics.

After today’s sightseeing to two Beijing attractions, you can have a rest on a train from Beijing to Xian. It takes around 5 hours for the train ride.

Day 5  Terracotta Army and the Wall
Terracotta Army
Enjoying a reputation of the “eighth Greatest Miracle in the World”, the Terracotta Army is a must-visit attraction for tourists to Xian. Currently, there are three exhibition vaults in Terracotta Museum, where collects thousands of terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons. Some of them are preserved very well despite of being destroyed during wartime.
Ancient City Wall
The 12-meter high ancient City Wall is a landmark of Xian. Both local people and tourists like to take a stroll on the city wall. The top of the city wall is 14 meters across, so it is also safe to cycle on the city wall.
Muslim Quarter
Located to the north of the Drum Tower, the Muslim Quarter is renowned for its street foods and local handicraft products. Tourists can find both Muslim and local Xian foods on the street, however, there is absolutely no pork.

Day 6  Xian Half-Day Museum Tour
Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Standing 64 meters above the horizon, the 9-storey Big Wild Goose Pagoda was one of the highest buildings in ancient Xian. Thousands of Buddhist relics are collected in the pagoda. Its most priceless collections are gold and silver statues of Buddhas.
Shannxi History Museum
Enjoying a reputation of the “Treasure of China”, over 1.7 million bronze vessels, statues, murals, calligraphy works, potteries, coins and gold, silver or glass objects are collected in the Shannxi History Museum. In ancient times, people thought glass are more valuable than gold.

You will fly to Guilin, where features the karst landscape, after today’s sightseeing in Xian

Day 7  Li River Cruise
Li River Cruise
It takes 4.5 hours for the 83-kilometer long cruise on the Li River. Almost every first-time visitor to Guilin will take this cruise to admire the Li River and its surrounding hills. You will marvel at the incredible karst landform during the cruise.
Yulong River
The Yulong River is a branch of Li River, as well as the essence of Li River. There many ways to admire the unmatched views of the Yulong River, such as taking a bamboo raft cruise and hiking, cycling, driving an electric scooter or taking a battery car trip along the river.
West Street
West Street is the most popular nightlife destination in Yangshuo. There are multi-language menus in most restaurants and bars on this street. Many shop owners speak fluent English. Sometimes, there are more international tourists than Chinese people on this street.

Travel tips: The Impression Liusanjie is good option for your night activity. It is a dancing and music show displayed on a stage on a river. Feel free to let us know if you want to see it.

Day 8  Half-Day Guilin Cave Tour

You will drive to Guilin to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave, and then take a train to Chongqing to board on a Yangtze cruise ship

Elephant Trunk Hill
Guilin people like the Elephant Trunk Hill so much that they use the hill and its inverted reflection as the background scene on the city badge of Guilin. Almost every tourist would scream out “it does look like an elephant ”, when he or she see the hill.
Reed Flute Cave
The first tour group arrived at the Reed Flute Cave around 1200 years ago, because experts confirmed that the earliest characters carved on the wall in cave have a history of at least 1200 years. The stalactites and stalagmites are the major highlights in the cave now.

Day 9  First Day of Yangtze River Cruise
Yangtze River Cruise
Taking a Yangtze River Cruise is a great way to relax and learn about the history and culture of China. The views of Three Gorges, shore excursions and on-board service will make you satisfied.
Shore Excursion to Shibaozhai
Built on a cliff on a island of Yangtze River, the 56-meter high Shibaozhai Tower is a perfect viewing platform to admire the sceneries of Yangtze River. It is amazing to know the fact that wood is the major construction material of this tower.
Shore Excursion to Fengdu Ghost City
Fengdu has been the ghost city of China for over 2000 years. Ancient people believe their souls would go to Fengdu for justice after death. If they were bad people, they would be tortured in Fengdu. Gruesome statues of ghosts are the most impressed attractions in Fengdu.

Day 10  Second Day of Yangtze River Cruise
Three Gorges
Today, you will cruise past the lofty Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorges). You can ascend to the viewing deck on the top of your ship and your guide will introduce the highlights to you while cruising through these gorges.
Shore Excursion to Shennv Stream
The Shennv Stream is also called “Beauty Stream” because it is so tranquil and clean, and the surrounding sceneries are so beautiful that people can’t help considering it as a beautiful lady. A short cruise on the stream can make you totally relaxed.
Shore Excursion to White Emperor City
The White Emperor City was a famous place during the Three Kingdom Period (220 – 280 AD). There are several statues of the most renowned heroes during that period and over 1000 pieces of ancient relics, such as potteries, weapons and paintings in the museum of the City.

Day 11  Final Day of Yangtze River Cruise

Today you can either visit the Three Gorges Dam or admire it during a Ship Lift. If you do not visit the dam, experiencing a Ship Lift is also an interesting option. You will take a train to Shanghai after disembarkation.

Three Gorges Dam
The height of the Three Gorges Dam is 185 meters. Tourists can reach a viewing terrace with the same height of the dam. You will marvel at the largest water conservancy project in the world.
Ship Lift
The Ship Lift is a unique experience. Tourists can have a close view of the Three Gorges Dam during the lift. When your ship enters a sluice gate, the water will be injected, and your ship will become higher. When the water level is high enough, your ship can sail over the dam.

Day 12  Shanghai City Highlights Tour
Shanghai Museum
The Shanghai Museum is one of the four major museums in China. Founded in 1952, it has a collection of nearly 1.02 million pieces of cultural relics, including 140,000 pieces of essential relics. The recommended visiting time is two hours.
Yu Garden
The Yu Garden is a traditional classic garden in south China. It was built by a nobleman for his retired father. There is a Market outside the garden where you can buy many special crafts and souvenirs.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China. It is a gathering place for department stores and a paradise for shoppers. Nowadays, tourists who come to Shanghai will take Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street as a must-see stop.
The Bund
The Bund has many titles, " gallery of international architecture", "Oriental Wall Street" and so on. From the 19th century to the early 20th century, the Bund was a concession for many countries, and consulates of various countries were located here. The historical background has created a unique exotic style on the Bund.
Shanghai World Financial Center
Shanghai World Financial Center is located in Lujiazui. A total of 101 floors of the 492-meter high building are on the ground. There are a sightseeing hall, sightseeing bridge and sightseeing pavilion respectively on the 94th, 97th and 100th floors

Day 13  Goodbye and Wish You All the BEST!
Tianzifang
Tianzifang is one of Shanghai’s most charming and unmissable neighborhoods. It is rebuit from an old building complex with more than 50 years of history. After a unified planning and transformation, it has become a cultural and creative park.
The Jade Buddha Temple
In 1882, an eminent monk brought back five Jade Buddhas from Myanmar. When passing by Shanghai, he left a sitting Buddha and a reclining Buddha. The Jade Buddha Temple was built to worship the two Jade Buddhas.

Alterations of Itineraries

The travel date, service items, itinerary and number of visitors, visitors’ ID information, etc. can be modified free of charge 30 days or more before the trip. If the visitor needs to make a second modification, an additional service fee of 5% of the deposit will be charged. Every time the content of the travel contract is modified, the company reserves the right to re-quote.

Cancellation Policy

Once the deposit is paid, your trip is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel your itinerary, please contact your travel consultant by email, phone, instant messenger, etc. There will be a charge for Cancellation or modification. The policy is as follows:

1. Notice of trip cancellation due to personal reasons before the trip starts
Cancellation 30 days or more before the trip starts, 10% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 29-15 days before the trip starts, 20% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 14-7 days before the trip starts, 30% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 6-2 days before the trip starts, 50% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to the trip starts, no refund of your deposit.

2. Trip cancellation due to irresistible factors before the trip starts

If you have to cancel the itinerary due to irresistible reasons such as traffic, weather, politics, etc., the deposit will be fully refunded by the company (for loss related to air ticket/train ticket, please take reference of the first item).
