Day 1  Arrival in Shanghai

Welcome to Shanghai, the magic city of China. It is the largest city in China. After China opened its door to the world in 1978, Shanghai’s economy developed rapidly. The Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, known as the “Oriental Wall Street”, was established across the Bund. Thousands of skyscrapers rose from the ground.

Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport or train station and accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2  Shanghai City Highlights Tour
Shanghai Museum
The Shanghai Museum is one of the four major museums in China. Founded in 1952, it has a collection of nearly 1.02 million pieces of cultural relics, including 140,000 pieces of essential relics. The recommended visiting time is two hours.
Yu Garden
The Yu Garden is a traditional classic garden in south China. It was built by a nobleman for his retired father. There is a Market outside the garden where you can buy many special crafts and souvenirs.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China. It is a gathering place for department stores and a paradise for shoppers. Nowadays, tourists who come to Shanghai will take Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street as a must-see stop.
The Bund
The Bund was only an abandoned beach before it became a British concession in 1843. Lots of buildings, which are preserved very well nowadays, were built and used as branches of various international companies. Many young couples use these historical buildings as the scene for their wedding photos.
Shanghai World Financial Center
Shanghai World Financial Center is located in Lujiazui. A total of 101 floors of the 492-meter high building are on the ground. There are a sightseeing hall, sightseeing bridge and sightseeing pavilion respectively on the 94th, 97th and 100th floors

Day 3  Old Shanghai Tour
Former French Concession
If you want to experience the Former French Concession, Huaihai Road, Hengshan Road, and Wukang Road are good choices, among which Wukang Road is the road with the most authentic French atmosphere. 37 buildings in French style still stand on this road.

You will be transferred to an airport in Shanghai to fly to Guilin, your next destination.

Day 4  Li River Cruise
Li River Cruise
Li River is the reason why thousands of people travel to Guilin. The postcard-worthy landscape would not exist without the Li River. The 4.5 hours long Guilin to Yangshuo cruise allows tourists to admire the most charming parts of the Li River.
Yulong River
The Yulong River enjoys a reputation of “Mini Li River”. The most popular way to admire the scenery of Yulong River is taking a bamboo raft cruise. The most exquisite small bridges and villages can be seen during the cruise. Hiking and cycling along the river are also good options.
West Street
With a history of over 1400 years, the West Street is the most prosperous area in Yangshuo. Both international and domestic tourists like to search for nightlife on this street. Restaurants, bars and souvenir shops on this street are always full of customers.

Travel Tips: The Impression Liusanjie is good option for your night activity. It is a dancing and music show displayed on a stage on a river. Feel free to let us know if you want to see it.

Day 5  Guilin City Tour

After breakfast, you will drive back to Guilin for half day’s tour. Your tour guide will help you board on your plane to Chengdu after today’s tour

Elephant Trunk Hill
Located on the intersection of Li and Peach Blossom Rivers, the Elephant Trunk Hill look like a huge elephant drinking water in the river. There are over 50 stone-carving works collected in the cave beside the feet of the “elephant”.
Reed Flute Cave
The Reed Flute Cave is a classic scenic spot of karst landform. The stalactites and stalagmites in the cave look like animals or plants. When the colorful neon lights are on, tourists will feel like walking in a crystal palace.

Day 6  Giant Panda Tour
Chengdu Panda Base
Don’t miss the cute national treasure - giant panda in Chengdu, the giant pandas’ hometown! The Chengdu Panda Base was set up to rescue six sick and weak pandas, and now there are around 200 pandas in the Base.
Wenshu Monastery
Wenshu Monastery was built in the Sui Dynasty(581-618 AD). All the buildings in the monastery are the essence of ancient Sichuan architecture. The Buddha’s relics of two eminent monks are the priceless collections in the monastery.
People's Park
The People's Park is a good place of recreation for locals. Chengdu citizens are accustomed to ordering a cup of tea at the outdoor teahouse and playing mahjong and gossiping in the park. You are welcome to join them.
Jinli
Jinli is a comprehensive tourist area set up based on the residential houses built around 500 years ago. The history of the Three Kingdoms period (220-280) and Sichuan folk culture are the highlights in Jinli.

Travel tips: Sichuan Opera, renowned for its fast face change, is an interesting nightlife activity in Chengdu. Feel free to let us know if you want to see it.

Day 7  Fly to Tibet

Today, you will fly to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, from Chengdu.

Welcome to Tibet, the Roof of the World. Please keep walking slowly and take a good rest in order to better acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 8  Lhasa Potala Palace Tour
Potala Palace
Initially built in 641 AD and listed as a world heritage site in 1994, the Potala Palace is the most popular tourist attraction in Tibet. The halls, murals, statues and mountain views will make you shocked even if you are not a Buddhist.
Jokhang Monastery
The Jokhang Monastery is the final destination for pilgrims. A statue of the 12-year-old Sakyamuni, who lived in India in the fifth century BC, and who was the creator of Buddhism, is collected in the monastery. This is the reason why Buddhists consider Lhasa a Sacred Land.
Barkhor Street
Located near the Jokhang Monastery, the Barkhor Street was only a place for Buddhists to do a religious circumambulation in ancient times. Nowadays, tourists can buy exquisite souvenirs on the street, such as handicrafts, costumes, tea, prayer wheels and Tibetan incense.

Day 9  Sera Monastery Debate
Sera Monastery
There are over 10,000 statues of Buddha in the Sera Monastery. Most of them were made in Tibet. The most popular activity in Sera Monastery is the debate about Buddhist scriptures. The monks not only talk but also use various gestures during the debate. Sometimes, it looks like dance.
Tibet Handicraft Art Center
Tourists can learn how make Thangka, Tibet carvings, food, pottery, incense and jewelry in the Tibet Handicraft Art Center.

Day 10  Fly to Xian

After breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you to the airport to board on your flight to Xian, one of the most historical cities in China. Your Xian tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11  Terracotta Army Exploration
Terracotta Army
The Terracotta Army was unearthed in 1974 by a farmer in the suburb of Xian City. Very soon, it became a very popular tourist attraction. Over 200 leaders of foreign countries have ever visited the Terracotta Army Museum. Besides the terracotta soldiers and horses, the bronze chariots are also highlights in the museum.
Ancient City Wall
Most ancient relics in Xian are preserved very well. Besides, the city wall itself, the watching and archers’ towers on the city wall also look almost the same as 700 years ago. It is recommended to take a walking or cycling tour on the city wall.
Muslim Quarter
The Muslim Quarter has become the best places to try street food and buy souvenirs since late 1990s. The noodles, roasted mutton or beef, pancakes, dried fruits, and dumplings are the recommended street foods. The handicrafts, such as paper cuts, embroideries and shadow plays are popular souvenirs.

Day 12  Xian Museum Tour
Big Wild Goose Pagoda
With a history of over 1400 years, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda witnessed how Buddhism was introduced to China from India. The Buddhist scriptures, carvings, murals, paintings and calligraphy works are major collections in the pagoda.
Shaanxi History Museum
Opened in 1991, the Shaanxi History Museum is the first modern national museum in the history of China. Over 1.7 million pieces of ancient relics are collected in the museum. The oldest one of them have a history of over one million years.

You will take a 5-hour train ride to Beijing after today’s sightseeing.

Day 13  Beijing Royalty Exploration
Forbidden City
The Forbidden City, where there are 9999 palaces or halls, is the largest and most complete palace group in China. The Forbidden City is divided into two areas, the outer and the inner courts. The outer court was the office for emperors, while the inter court was living area.
Tian’anmen Square
Tian’anmen Square is one of the largest city squares in the world. It is located in the center of Beijing City. Tian'anmen Gate is an entrance to the Forbidden City. Tian'anmen Square holds a flag-raising ceremony every morning.
Jingshan Park
Jingshan Park use to be the Royal Garden. Ancient emperors often came here to enjoy flowers, practice arrows, hold banquets, and climb mountains. At the top of Jingshan Mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the center of Beijing.
Summer Palace
As the royal garden of the Qing Dynasty (1636 to 1912 AD), the Summer Palace is also the largest and most classic garden in China. You can go boating on Kunming Lake as the emperor used to do, or you can stroll on the willow bank embankment of the lake.

Day 14  Mutianyu Great Wall Tour
Mutianyu Great Wall
In the Ming Dynasty (1368~1644), the emperor moved the capital to Beijing in order to resist foreign enemies. Mutianyu Great Wall became the most important defender of the imperial city. It played a vital role in defending the Beijing city and the Ming emperor's mausoleum.
Ming Tombs
The Ming Tombs are one of the most complete royal tombs in the world. It was listed as a world cultural heritage in 2003. There were 16 emperors in the Ming Dynasty(1368~1644 AD), and 13 of them were buried here.
Bird's Nest
The Bird's Nest is China's national stadium. As the main stadium of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, it held the opening and closing ceremonies. After the Olympic Games, the Bird's Nest became a sports entertainment venue for local citizens.
Water Cube
Located in the Beijing Olympic Park, the Water Cube is one of the landmarkss of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It is named after the appearance of bubbles resembling sea water. The Water Cube and the Bird's Nest are the two iconic buildings of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Day 15  Beijing Half-Day Tour
Temple of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven was a place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 to 1911 AD)worshiped the heavens and earth and prayed for good climate. The Temple of Heaven was built in 1420.
Hutong
Hutong is an important part of traditional Beijing culture. It carries the past and memory of this ancient city. Hutongs first appeared around 700 years ago. There are more than 6,000 famous Hutongs in Beijing, which are like the veins of the city, linking all parts of the city.

Cancellation Policy

Once the deposit is paid, your trip is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel your itinerary, please contact your travel consultant by email, phone, instant messenger, etc. There will be a charge for Cancellation or modification. The policy is as follows:

1. Notice of trip cancellation due to personal reasons before the trip starts
Cancellation 30 days or more before the trip starts, 10% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 29-15 days before the trip starts, 20% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 14-7 days before the trip starts, 30% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 6-2 days before the trip starts, 50% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to the trip starts, no refund of your deposit.

2. Trip cancellation due to irresistible factors before the trip starts

If you have to cancel the itinerary due to irresistible reasons such as traffic, weather, politics, etc., the deposit will be fully refunded by the company (for loss related to air ticket/train ticket, please take reference of the first item).
