Day 1  Arrival in Shanghai

Welcome to Shanghai, China's most internationalized and charming city. It has been a famous trading center since the 18th century. The history of the Republic of China during the colonial period added a lot of exoticism to Shanghai. Shanghai's long-term fusion of Eastern and Western cultures has contributed to Shanghai's unique culture. Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport or train station and accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2  Shanghai City Highlights
Shanghai Museum
The Shanghai Museum is one of the four major museums in China. Founded in 1952, it has a collection of nearly 1.02 million pieces of cultural relics, including 140,000 pieces of essential relics. The recommended visiting time is two hours.
Yu Garden
The Yu Garden is a traditional classic garden in south China. It was built by a nobleman for his retired father. There is a Market outside the garden where you can buy many special crafts and souvenirs.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China. It is a gathering place for department stores and a paradise for shoppers. Nowadays, tourists who come to Shanghai will take Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street as a must-see stop.
The Bund
Shanghai is the most prosperous city in China, and the Bund is the most prosperous area in Shanghai. You can admire both the historical buildings, which were built around 100 years ago by international companies and the newly-built skyscrapers on the Bund.
Shanghai World Financial Center
Shanghai World Financial Center is located in Lujiazui. A total of 101 floors of the 492-meter high building are on the ground. There are a sightseeing hall, sightseeing bridge and sightseeing pavilion respectively on the 94th, 97th and 100th floors

Day 3  Suzhou Garden Tour

You will take train from Shanghai to Suzhou this morning. A high-speed only steam for half an hour to arrive in Suzhou from Shanghai.

Lingering Garden
The Lingering Garden is one of nine "Classic Gardens of Suzhou" on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The architectural layout in the garden is artistic. You can enjoy four kinds of sceneries in the garden, which are hills and rivers, countryside, forest and courtyard.
Shantang Street
Shantang Street has a history of more than 1,100 years, and it was known as "the epitome of old Suzhou and the window of Jiangsu culture". Shantang Street is very artistic and suitable for taking pictures. You can also go to a teahouse to listen to the Suzhou opera and feel the traditional lifestyle of Suzhou.
Tiger Hill
Tiger Hill has a history of more than 2,500 years. It attracts visitors with a number of historical sites and its natural beauty. The hill’s name is said to come from the fact that it looks like a crouching tiger, Tiger Hill is also known as the "Leaning Tower of Pisa in the Orient".

Day 4  Zhouzhuang Water Town
Suzhou Museum
The current building of Suzhou Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei, who was regarded as the last master of modernist architecture, so the most famous exhibit here is the museum itself. The museum fully embodies the history, art, and culture of Suzhou and Yangtze River Delta.
Zhouzhuang Water Town
Zhouzhuang, one of the most classic water town in China, has the reputation of "China's top water town." It is famous for its cultural background, the well-preserved ancient residential houses and the watery views. Zhouzhuang is built amid canals, most residents live by the water, so it also known as “Oriental Venice”.

You will take a 1.5-hour long train ride to Hangzhou after today’s tour.

Day 5  West Lake
West Lake
The West Lake is one of the most famous lakes in China. West Lake is the soul of Hangzhou and an important part of culture of the South Yangtze River area. The beautiful West Lake was described as a beautiful woman in many ancient Chinese poems.
Lingyin Temple
Lingyin Temple is a thousand-year-old temple. It is also the earliest Buddhist temple in China and one of China's top ten ancient temples. There is the famous Feilai Peak beside the temple. Many inscriptions and statues remain in the cave of Feilai Peak, which is a precious cultural heritage.
Feilai Peak
Due to the long-term dissolution of groundwater, Feilai Peak has formed many caves, each of which has a different origin and is legendary. More than 470 ancient stone sculptures were carved in these caves and cliffs on the peak
Meijiawu
Meijiawu is an ancient tea culture village with a history of more than 600 years. It is also the main producing area of the famous West Lake Longjing tea. the Longjing tea produced there is well-known by its green color beautiful shape and mellow fragrance.
China Tea Museum
The China Tea Museum is a place to learn about tea culture. The Tea Museum is built on a mountain. The buildings in the museum look like those in ancient gardens. The ponds and rockeries are good ornaments for the tea plantations in the museum.

Travel Tips: It is recommended to see the music and dance show “the Enduring Memory of Hangzhou” at night. The West Lake is the stage, and audience sit just beside the lake. The music and light effects make the West Lake even more charming.

Day 6  Tunxi Ancient Town

You will take a 2-hour long train ride to Huangshan City in the morning.

Tunxi Ancient Town
Tunxi Ancient Town is located in the center of Huangshan City, and has been a famous commercial center since ancient times. The architectural complex of the ancient town was built according to the traditional architectural style of Huizhou dwellings.

Day 7  Yellow Mountain
Yungu Cable Car
You will go to the Yungu Temple to take a cable car ride to the North Sea Scenic Area, where is the halfway point of the Yellow Mountain. You can both save your energy and admire spectacular mountain views in a cable car.
Shixin Peak
Shixin Peak, features the pine trees on it, is 1683 meters above the sea level. Shixin peak is also the first shocking destination on the Yellow Mountain. Standing on the stones on Shixin Peak and admiring the surrounding cliff can definitely make you excited.
West Sea Grand Canyon
The West Sea Grand Canyon is a paradise for hiking. The difficulty varies for different hiking routes. We will introduce the best routes to you abased on your interests and stamina. The most popular route starts at the Paiyun Pavilion, leading tourists to the bottom of the canyon, and then go back to the pavilion.

Day 8  Sunrise on the Yellow Mountain
Watching the Sunrise
Watching the sunrise is one of a must-do activities while visiting the Yellow Mountain. The sunrise of Yellow Mountain is fantastic. When the sun is shining on the whirling cloud, it feels like a golden sea is changing its color in front of you.

You will walk to the cable car station to take a cable car to the foot of the Yellow Mountain, and then you will be transferred to the City of Huangshan.

Day 9  Ancient Village
Xidi
Xidi is an ancient town with a thousand years of history. It was included in the World Cultural Heritage in 2000. All the streets and lanes are paved with black stones. It enjoys a reputation of “Ancient Folk House Musuem”.
Hongcun Village
Hongcun Village is located in the southwest of Huangshan City. It was built in the period of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1131) and covers an area of 188.95 square kilometers. Among the many Anhui-style residential villages, Hong Village is the most typical.

Alterations of Itineraries

The travel date, service items, itinerary and number of visitors, visitors’ ID information, etc. can be modified free of charge 30 days or more before the trip. If the visitor needs to make a second modification, an additional service fee of 5% of the deposit will be charged. Every time the content of the travel contract is modified, the company reserves the right to re-quote.

Cancellation Policy

Once the deposit is paid, your trip is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel your itinerary, please contact your travel consultant by email, phone, instant messenger, etc. There will be a charge for Cancellation or modification. The policy is as follows:

1. Notice of trip cancellation due to personal reasons before the trip starts
Cancellation 30 days or more before the trip starts, 10% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 29-15 days before the trip starts, 20% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 14-7 days before the trip starts, 30% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation 6-2 days before the trip starts, 50% penalty of the deposit.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to the trip starts, no refund of your deposit.

2. Trip cancellation due to irresistible factors before the trip starts

If you have to cancel the itinerary due to irresistible reasons such as traffic, weather, politics, etc., the deposit will be fully refunded by the company (for loss related to air ticket/train ticket, please take reference of the first item).
