Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai
Welcome to Shanghai, the magic city of China. It is the largest city in China. After China opened its door to the world in 1978, Shanghai’s economy developed rapidly. The Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, known as the “Oriental Wall Street”, was established across the Bund. Thousands of skyscrapers rose from the ground.
Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport or train station and accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2 Shanghai City Highlights Tour
The Shanghai Museum is one of the four major museums in China. Founded in 1952, it has a collection of nearly 1.02 million pieces of cultural relics, including 140,000 pieces of essential relics. The recommended visiting time is two hours.
The Yu Garden is a traditional classic garden in south China. It was built by a nobleman for his retired father. There is a Market outside the garden where you can buy many special crafts and souvenirs.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China. It is a gathering place for department stores and a paradise for shoppers. Nowadays, tourists who come to Shanghai will take Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street as a must-see stop.
Featuring the historical buildings on it, the Bund on the Huangpu River is the most famous attraction in Shanghai. The other side of the Bund is known as "China Wall Street" Lujiazui Financial Center, where you can see the skyscrapers such as Oriental Pearl Tower and Global Financial Center.
Shanghai World Financial Center is located in Lujiazui. A total of 101 floors of the 492-meter high building are on the ground. There are a sightseeing hall, sightseeing bridge and sightseeing pavilion respectively on the 94th, 97th and 100th floors

Day 3 Former French Concession
The overall architectural style of the Former French Concession is neat and unified. It was the most luxury residential area in Shanghai during 1930s. The sycamore trees on the road were transplanted from France in early 20th century, so the sycamore tree was called "French Sycamore" in Shanghai.
You will fly to Yichang to board on a Yangtze cruise ship after today’s Shanghai tour. Your embarkation time depends on the weather and season. Generally speaking, it falls between 18:00 and 24:00. Your tour guide will let you know the exact time.

Day 4 First Day of Yangtze Cruise
Today, you will visit the Three Gorges Dam or admire it during a Ship Lift.
The height of the Three Gorges Dam is 185 meters. Tourists can reach a viewing terrace with the same height of the dam. You will marvel at the largest water conservancy project in the world.
The Ship Lift is a unique experience. Tourists can have a close view of the Three Gorges Dam during the lift. After your ship sails over the dam and enters a sluice gate, the water will be drained off gradually and your ship will become lower. Finally, it will reach the Yangtze River again.
Sanxia Renjia Family is a good shore excursion destination to learn about the history and culture of ancient people who lived in the Three Gorges area. You will be entertained with the fishing and wedding shows and folk songs in the Family.

Day 5 Second Day of the Cruise
Today, you will cruise past the lofty Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorges). You can ascend to the viewing deck on the top of your ship and your guide will introduce the highlights to you while cruising through these gorges.
The Shennv Stream is also called “Beauty Stream” because it is so tranquil and clean, and the surrounding sceneries are so beautiful that people can’t help considering it as a beautiful lady. A short cruise on the stream can make you totally relaxed.
The White Emperor City was a famous place during the Three Kingdom Period (220 – 280 AD). There are several statues of the most renowned heroes during that period and over 1000 pieces of ancient relics, such as potteries, weapons and paintings in the museum of the City.

Day 6 Third Day of the Cruise
Built on a cliff on a island of Yangtze River, the 56-meter high Shibaozhai Tower is a perfect viewing platform to admire the sceneries of Yangtze River. It is amazing to know the fact that wood is the major construction material of this tower.
Fengdu has been the ghost city of China for over 2000 years. Ancient people believe their souls would go to Fengdu for justice after death. If they were bad people, they would be tortured in Fengdu. Gruesome statues of ghosts are the most impressed attractions in Fengdu.

Transportation
In a private tour, it means you will transfer to the tourist attractions in one city by private vehicle. The private car we selected is spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned. And the driver we use are very experienced. As for traveling between two destinations, we use domestic flights (economy seat) or high speed trains (second class seat, usually less than 6 hours). The local guides and drivers will pick you up at the airport/train stations, and escort you to the hotel.
Meals
“B” stands for breakfast. You will have it at your hotel in the morning.
“L” stands for lunch. The restaurants we will arrange for you are all designated tourist restaurants approved by local tourist administration bureau. All are in good sanitary conditions. Your guide will assist you with ordering the dishes.
“D” means dinner. All dinners are excluded in the itinerary. You have the chance to taste some authentic Chinese food and local snacks.

Wonderful Experience
Very professional and knowledgeable. Could not of asked for better planning. The explanations were detailed and interesting. The local restaurant choices were delicious. Memorable trip!!!
One of the best trips I ever had, I give five stars for the professionalism and good itinerary. I had a great informatory trip. The guide was very knowledgeable with all part of and the city. His historic background is rich and coming from the heart. Our driver was very careful and patient with traffic and both were very prompt. Food was ok and service was good. I highly recommend this travel agency, if you go to China make sure to use them.

First adventure in China
This was our first adventure since moving to China and it did not disappoint!!! Guilin and YangShuo are some of the most beautiful places on earth. If you are thinking of going - don't think, GO!! It's truly a magical area with some of the most scenic scapes I've ever experienced.
