Day 1 Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Welcome to Zhangjiajie, a relatively new tourist destination in China. It become even more famous after being used as the scene the movie Avatar. Besides, the glass bridge and Tianmen Cave are also renowned globally.
Your guide will meet you at the airport or train station and accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2 Avatar Tour
As the first national forest park in China, Zhangjiajie Forest Park is home to over 3000 mountains and thousands of kinds of plants and animals. April to October are the best time to visit the Natural Museum. Over 100 million visit the park every year.
The sceneries on the Tianzi Mountain varies in different seasons. In spring, the sea of cloud is the most attractive thing. In summer, the tourists can admire sunglow. In autumn and winter, the snow views are excellent. Besides, a rich variety of plants are always worth a visit.
Yuanjiajie is the place used as the filming location for Avatar. The most renowned mountain was renamed as “Avatar Hallelujah” after the movie became well-known all over the world. If you want to delve into an authentic Avatar world, Yuanjiajie is a must-visit place.
The Bailong Elevator is set up for tourists to reach the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. It takes only 118 seconds for the elevator to reach its destination – a 326-meter high terrace, which make it the highest and fasted outdoor sightseeing elevator.
The Ten-Mile Gallery is renowned for the queer rocks, which looks like immortals in Chinese fairytales or animals. Your tour guide will help you understand and admire these rocks via their insightful introductions.

Day 3 Grand Canyon
Listed as a world heritage by UNESCO, the Baofeng Lake is a classic lake in China. Taking a boat-ride on the emerald-like lake is the best way to relax yourself. If you want something exciting, the waterfall of the lake is a good place.
Opened in 2011, the Grand Canyon became a popular attraction in only a few years. The green mountains, clear rivers and mysterious caves make the Grand Canyon a “Natural Landform Museum”. The world’s highest and longest glass-bottomed bridge is also built in the canyon.
Welcome to the world’s highest (300 meters) and longest (536 meters) glass-bottomed bridge! Not so many people dare walk on it. Other warriors’ activities include bungee jump, wire walking, sky rope and trapeze. Are you ready to challenge yourself?

Day 4 Tianmen Mountain
With a deep atmosphere of Taoism and Buddhism, the Tianmen Mountain is called the “Soul of Zhangjiajie” by tourists. Due to the high percentage of forest cover on the mountain, tourists can see many rare animals there, such as deer, foxes, macaques and pangolins.
Due to its complicated internal structure, the Huanglong Cave is nicknamed “Underground Magic Palace”. A 20-meter high stalagmite is the most valuable thing in the cave, because it has been growing for over 200,000 years. The administrator of the cave bought an insurance, which was worth 100 million, for the stalagmite in 1998.
The 131.5 meters high Tianmen Cave looks like a gate to the heaven, so it is the most renowned attraction in Zhangjiajie. It is said going through the cave can bring good luck. However, tourists have to climb a 999-step stair to reach the cave.

Day 5 Fenghuang Ancient Town
In morning, you will spend 3.5 hours proceeding to the Fenghuang Ancient Town
Located on the border between Hunan and Guizhou Provinces, the Fenghuang Ancient Town has been prosperous for three centuries. The ancient houses and streets, city wall, and castles are major attractions in the town.
Most houses in Fenghuang are built on the banks of the Tuo River. Tourists can take a sculling boat ride on the Tuo River to admire the sceneries and walk on the 66 square stone blocks, which are built on the river for local people to cross the river. Nowadays, these stone blocks are popular photo scenes.

Day 6 Fenghuang Departure

Transportation
In a private tour, it means you will transfer to the tourist attractions in one city by private vehicle. The private car we selected is spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned. And the driver we use are very experienced. As for traveling between two destinations, we use domestic flights (economy seat) or high speed trains (second class seat, usually less than 6 hours). The local guides and drivers will pick you up at the airport/train stations, and escort you to the hotel.
Meals
“B” stands for breakfast. You will have it at your hotel in the morning.
“L” stands for lunch. The restaurants we will arrange for you are all designated tourist restaurants approved by local tourist administration bureau. All are in good sanitary conditions. Your guide will assist you with ordering the dishes.
“D” means dinner. All dinners are excluded in the itinerary. You have the chance to taste some authentic Chinese food and local snacks.

Wonderful Experience
Very professional and knowledgeable. Could not of asked for better planning. The explanations were detailed and interesting. The local restaurant choices were delicious. Memorable trip!!!
One of the best trips I ever had, I give five stars for the professionalism and good itinerary. I had a great informatory trip. The guide was very knowledgeable with all part of and the city. His historic background is rich and coming from the heart. Our driver was very careful and patient with traffic and both were very prompt. Food was ok and service was good. I highly recommend this travel agency, if you go to China make sure to use them.

First adventure in China
This was our first adventure since moving to China and it did not disappoint!!! Guilin and YangShuo are some of the most beautiful places on earth. If you are thinking of going - don't think, GO!! It's truly a magical area with some of the most scenic scapes I've ever experienced.
