Itinerary Day by Day
Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu
Welcome to Chengdu! You will have a wonderful Chengdu cityand giant panda tour here. Your guide will meet you at the airport or trainstation, and help you check in your hotel. You will have a self-explorationtoday. The Sichuan hotpot and opera are recommended activities.
Day 2 Leshan Giant Buddha
You will drive to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha. After today’s tour you will be transferred to a hotel at the foot of Emei Mountain.
Leshan Giant Buddha is located at the confluence of three rivers. An eminent monk led the carving project in 713 AD to pray for the Buddha to keep the safety of the boats on the rivers. The project lasted 90 years, and the monk died while working.
Baoguo Temple is located at the foot of Mount Emei. It also is the largest Buddhist temple and the starting point for exploring Mount Emei, a world heritage of world culture and nature. There are four main halls with different heights in Baoguo Temple.
Day 3 Mount Emei
Lots of Buddhist relics are preserved very well on the Mount Emei, among which, the gold statue of Buddha is the most renowned. Besides, tourist can admire beautiful mountain views, such sea of cloud and spectacular peaks.
You will drive back to Chengdu after today’s tour
Day 4 Dujiangyan Panda Base Volunteer Work
In the morning, you will drive to the Dujiangyan Panda Base.
The charmingly pandas are national treasure in China. If you like cute pandas too, come to Dujiangyan Panda Base to be volunteers will be a great choice. You will become a panda caring nurse, not only can you prepare food for them, you can also feed them up close.
Day 5 Dujiangyan Irrigation System
The construction project of the Dujiangyan Irritation System started in 256 BC and ended in 248 BC. It has been protecting the Chengdu area from flooding for over 2000 years. It is the reason why this area became more and more prosperous. You tour guide will tell you how the system works.
Day 6 Chengdu City Tour
Wenshu Monastery was built in the Sui Dynasty (581-618 AD). All the buildings in the monastery are the essence of ancient Sichuan architecture. The Buddha’s relics of two eminent monks are the priceless collections in the monastery.
Jinli is a comprehensive tourist area set up based on the residential houses built around 500 years ago. The history of the Three Kingdoms period (220-280) and Sichuan folk culture are the highlights in Jinli.

Transportation
In a private tour, it means you will transfer to the tourist attractions in one city by private vehicle. The private car we selected is spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned. And the driver we use are very experienced. As for traveling between two destinations, we use domestic flights (economy seat) or high speed trains (second class seat, usually less than 6 hours). The local guides and drivers will pick you up at the airport/train stations, and escort you to the hotel.
Meals
“B” stands for breakfast. You will have it at your hotel in the morning.
“L” stands for lunch. The restaurants we will arrange for you are all designated tourist restaurants approved by local tourist administration bureau. All are in good sanitary conditions. Your guide will assist you with ordering the dishes.
“D” means dinner. All dinners are excluded in the itinerary. You have the chance to taste some authentic Chinese food and local snacks.
If you have special dietary requirements (vegetarian, halal, kosher, Indian, or gluten-free), please let us know before your booking. We will try our best to take care of you.

Memorable trip!!!
One of the best trips I ever had, I give five stars for the professionalism and good itinerary. I had a great informatory trip. The guide was very knowledgeable with all part of and the city. His historic background is rich and coming from the heart. Our driver was very careful and patient with traffic and both were very prompt. Food was ok and service was good. First adventure in China
This was our first adventure since moving to China and it did not disappoint!!! Guilin and YangShuo are some of the most beautiful places on earth. If you are thinking of going - don't think, GO!! It's truly a magical area with some of the most scenic scapes I've ever experienced.
