We’ve just returned from the most magical stay at Heritance Aarah in the Maldives, and while the entire resort was stunning, it was our butler Satyam who truly made our holiday unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, Satyam was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. He seemed to effortlessly anticipate our needs and was always just a WhatsApp message away, yet never intrusive. His punctuality, professionalism, and warm personality made us feel completely at ease.
We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and Satyam went above and beyond to make it truly special. From beautifully arranged surprises in our villa to organizing the perfect dinner under the stars, every detail felt personal and thoughtful. He even managed to understand our quirky sense of humour—and matched it perfectly! It felt like we’d known him for years.
The Maldives is, of course, a paradise—but it’s the people like Satyam who make it truly memorable. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness, laughter, and impeccable service.

The resort catered for all our needs, never a moment to be bored and yet so relaxing. We ventured out on several activities organised by the Kaito Dive Centre team who managed our wishes to swim with the majestic manta rays on the two specific activities as well as turtles and some wonderful reef fish.
Not only was the attentiveness of our butler Satyam a huge factor in making this a memorable vacation, but all the resort staff should be commended for their friendliness and attention to detail. Special thanks also to chef Mahmoud Salah, who prepared a delicious Maldivian curry for us, Chaminda for looking after us at the Ranba restaurant, and Shashi who charmed us for our departing meal and another anniversary dinner at the Baani restaurant.
