Asia Odyssey Travel Expert Anthony

We had a great trip in Zhangjiajie organized by Anthony from Asia Odissey travel. Our guide Lee was remarkable, the hotel and the meals was excellent and we enjoyed every minute of it !!

We planned a 7-day private tour in Tibet with the help of Anthony from Asia Odyssey. He helped us with all the planning details, including advice on obtaining an entry visa for China, which is required for the Tibet entry permit, as well as booking a tour guide and all of our visits and lodging. Our guide Norbu met us in Lhasa and provided interesting and comprehensive cultural and historical background on all the sites we visited, taking care of all the interpretation and bureaucratic processes along the way. We would definitely highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in exploring this fascinating region.

The tour was amazing. The temples and gardens were beautiful. I savoured Michelin-starred chicken rice at Chinatown and spicy curries in Little India. Exploring Kampong Glam and vibrant Haji Lane blended culture with cuisine perfectly. Our guide’s stories about Singapore’s food history made every bite meaningful. I adored how clean, efficient, and flavour-packed this city is. Must recommend this adventure!

I was really impressed with the Yangtze 2. The ship is larger than I expected, with tons of open spaces to relax. The staff was friendly and professional, and their English was great, which made communication so easy. I really liked the shore excursions—they took us to some less-visited spots that were still beautiful and interesting.

The Yangtze 3 was one of the nicest cruises I’ve ever been on. The ship is new and beautifully designed, with spacious common areas and high-end finishes.  The activities onboard were varied, with something for all ages, and the staff’s English was excellent, which made everything easy to navigate. Plus, the all-inclusive package meant we could just relax and enjoy

I really enjoyed the dining experience on the Century Victory. The VIP restaurant was a real treat. We went there a couple of times for a quieter and more intimate experience. There were fewer people, and it was much more peaceful, which was perfect for a relaxing dinner. The food was delicious throughout the cruise—fresh, varied, and well-prepared. Our cabin was spacious, and we had a great view of the river.

We recently returned from a Yangtze cruise on the new Century Glory ship. All of our arrangements were made by Vivien Li from China Discovery. We corresponded by email with Vivien. She was wonderful and gave us great advice.
The ship has only been in service for a few weeks. The crew went beyond our expectations to help us in English. The ship is very pretty. The nightly entertainment was produced by the crew members and they were very good. We enjoyed the optional tour to the ghost city.
