Everything worked out wonderfully on our short trip to Guilin, Yangshuo and Guangzhou. The hotels, transport and tours were all great. All very easy and comfortable. Ashley in Asia Odyssey's head office was very helpful in catering this short tour to our needs and organising it all.

The local guide in Guilin was equally wonderful. We arrived there hungry after our journey up from Hong Kong, and our guide Helen immediately instructed our driver to take us for lunch, the most delicious Guilin mi fen. Helen was not only informative and an expert at dealing with bureaucracy, she was also endlessly enthusiastic, fun and flexible over plans to fit in with our wishes. She urged us to try the Yangshuo beer fish, which turned out to be one of the culinary highlights of the trip.

Cycling through the cast landscape around Yangshuo was another highlight, along with cruising down the Li River and around the lakes of Guilin.

I had not traveled much in mainland China for about 15 years, and was looking for a travel agency to smoothly facilitate my reintroduction to the mainland. Asia Odyssey fulfilled that role brilliantly. I will definitely use Asia Odyssey again and recommend them to others. Thank you Helen and Ashley for a fantastic trip.

Credits to AOT for our Yunnan Escapade! Our guides, Snow, Sohpia, Hua, and Lina were all superb! From airport/train station pick ups to drop offs, their services were beyond expectations! Asia Odyssey organised everything for a short trip to Guilin, Yangshao, and Guangzhou.

Overall it was a great trip.  Ashley, from head office, organised everything ahead of time.  She was very responsive to all our questions and requests.

Helen, our personal guide in Guilin and Yangshao was very knowledgeable and ensured everything ran smoothly and was very helpful.  She was also very nice, amusing at times, and easy to get on with.

One piece of advice is that it took longer than expected to clear Chinese immigration in West Kowloon.   We allowed 90 minutes and came close to missing our train.  It would have been smoother if we had filled in the online arrivals card before arriving at the station.  

Go to China with Asian Odyssey Travel, they are the best! We purchased a 10-day group tour in Brazil and everything was delivered as agreed. Our consultant Ashley was amazing,neighbourly and so qualified! We hope new adventures with  AOT soon. 

We had a wonderful time in Beijing, Xi an and Shanghai. Thanks Ashley for arranging the trip and stay well. Special thanks to Rose, our tour guide in Shanghai. She was of help more than what was needed. She recommended best places to eat, things to do at night which made our trip even more interesting. Thanks once again.

My husband and I recently booked a private trip through Asia Odyssey, and we couldn’t be happier!

Our guides, Tracy in Beijing and Waldner in Xi’an, were both fantastic, spoke very good English, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It’s been my husband’s dream to see and learn about the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors, he was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. The drivers, Mr. Yang and Mr. Sun, were also great! Their cars were always clean and comfortable. We also loved the hotel in Xi’an, it was clean, updated, and in a great location.

A huge thank you to Ashley, our travel consultant. She was truly amazing from start to finish, always quick to reply, professional, and incredibly patient. I booked our trip rather last minute and had to change our travel dates (totally my own fault) just three days before departure. Ashley handled everything smoothly and even worked through the Chinese national holidays to help us finalize our plans! When we had an issue late one night, she responded right away and solved it within an hour! 

Because of her and the whole Asia Odyssey team, our trip was stress-free and unforgettable. Highly recommend them!

I completed a 16 day Tibet tour with Asia Odyssey Travel which included Lhasa, EBC, Kailash kora and Guge kingdom, and was very satisfied with all the detailed services, transport arrangements (despite some days with long drives), and hotels provided.  Our tour guide Samdrup was very attentive to the groups needs.  I am grateful that the company was one of the few that was able to expedite my necessary Tibet permits within less than 2 weeks of my travel due to my last minute planning and visa delay. My travel agent Ashley communicated closely throughout the process for reassurance. All in all, it was a good experience and makes me more confident in other potential tours with this company.

Mr. Bruce's wealth and in-depth of knowledge Chinese history and pivotal historical events and locations were incredibly useful. I was enlightened in many ways and the experience enriched my experience in Xian. I appreciate the exceptional traveling accommodations to and from sites visited.  The itinerary you developed for the things I was focused on visiting was spot on.  

I now have a much better and new appreciation for this beautiful city and its people.

Great attention, and great travel packages they have. Ashley was the best helping us plan our trip! 

We booked our Yangtze cruise from Yichang to Chongqing with this agency. From the very start, our consultant, Ashley, was very friendly, professional, to the point and super responsive. She even supported us to book the train tickets to the departure city and sent a driver. We travelled with two kids and wanted to make sure it is also convenient for them. They enjoyed the entire trip, we can also recommend the ship Century Oasis. Attentive service and great planning/communication. We will remember Asia Odyssey Travel to book trips when coming back to China again! 

I asked for a trip in Zhangjiajie during the bank holiday in May. My request was made a few days before the departure. Despite the high challenge, the company Asia Odyssey Travel was able to provide us an unforgettable trip!

We had such a wonderful time on this private tour arranged by Rachel. There were 11 of us and our local tour guide, Christine, was very good in guiding us to must-see places in ChongQing, explaining all our questions and recommending really delicious yet affordable food in town to us! I highly recommend Asia Odyssey Travel. Both Rachel’s and Christine’s English are very good. We are all very satisfied with our vacation and cant wait to be on our next one!

We had the best time at Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou! The organising stage with Rachel was super smooth and easy. She was helpful with information and willing to make changes to tailor to what we wanted. The guides and drivers were all efficient, knowledgeable and had a decent grasp of English. Everything went well with no hiccups, and we really had a great time.

Agency helped plan an itinerary to Jiuzhaigou, Zhangjiajie and Huangshan in mid to end sep 2024. Rachel is efficient and prompt in addressing queries and concerns. Guides are helpful and kind, patient, efficient and go the extra mile to assist to make the tour meaningful sweet and memorable. The guides are very professional and knowledgeable too. Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to plan a trip to these beautiful places in China. Just to add, it would be good to provide screenshot of High Speed Train stations... as the names of station are not visible at the train station.. So that the journey can be more visible and smooth. Nonetheless, overall 5 star services, well done all !! Really appreciate it :)
