1 Day Shaolin Temple Tour & Kung Fu Experience from Luoyang

Took a day trip to Luoyang with Asia Odyssey from Xi’an. The entire trip was well managed and proper instructions were given on how to board the train.

Upon arrival at Louyang, was met by tour leader, Jenny. Was taken to the amazing Longmen Groettoes and then Shaolin temple in the afternoon. Both attractions were interesting, scenic and a must go if you come to Luoyang.

Not being able to understand and read Chinese, we were grateful to have Jenny with us. She provided clear explanations on each cave, each site and each attraction and it is a different experience after having an understanding of the history.

After completing the attractions, was driven to Luoyang Tran station. As we were early, Jenny helped us changed our train tickets to earlier schedule and even accompanied us into the station to show us which platform to board the train. Hats off to her for the extra effort!

If you are a non chinese tourist, I will strongly recommend Asia Odyssey and Jenny…

My husband felt unwell on the day of arrival at the Zhangjiajie Airport. He was immediately driven to a hospital A&E and the rest were driven to the hotel to rest.

At the hospital, Abbie ensured smooth registration and accompanied my husband and me during the doctor's consultation and the entire 8 hours treatment until my husband was discharged at night. Abbie was very patient and comforting throughout.

Rex, who was in another province, also followed up closely by calling us personally to keep in touch with the situation. We knew we were in good hands definitely! Our itinerary was also unaffected due to the hospital stay, as Rex and Abbie were quick to make adjustments to fit our travel plans nicely into the next two days' schedule. Our overall holiday was made very memorable and wonderful, thanks to Asia Odyssey Travel for their excellent service and planning.

We enjoyed a Henan tour with an incredible blend of history, culture, and martial arts. Day 1 covered the stunning Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. Day 2 was all about the Shaolin Temple, where we saw the Pagoda Forest and enjoyed a thrilling Kung Fu performance. Day 3 included a Kung Fu training session, which was immersive and fun. This tour is perfect for a deep dive into Henan’s treasures!
