Kids will love watching the monkeys swing through the trees and splash in the ponds, while parents can enjoy the mystical atmosphere and beautiful stone carvings scattered throughout the forest.
Continue your journey to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where emerald-green paddies cascade down the hillsides in stunning layers. Here, you can admire the stunning "Subak" irrigation system, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a leisurely walk along the narrow paths, and capture postcard-worthy photos of this iconic landscape.
After the tour, drive back to your hotel in Ubud.
Optional Evening Performance:
The courtyard of Ubud Palace hosts traditional Balinese dance and music performances every evening. With dancers in vibrant costumes, accompanied by the hypnotic sounds of the gamelan orchestra, the show brings to life stories from Hindu epics and Balinese legends.
Today, you will discover the artistic soul of Bali in Ubud, the island’s cultural hub.
Begin your day with a visit to the Ubud Palace, which was once the official residence of the Ubud royal family. Built in the early 19th century, the palace is a fine example of traditional Balinese architecture, with ornate stone carvings, elegant courtyards, and lush gardens that reflect the island’s artistry and cultural heritage. In the evenings, the palace courtyard transforms into a stage for traditional Balinese dance and music performances, making it a vibrant cultural hub.
Right across the street from the palace is the vibrant Ubud Market. Take a stroll through the bustling Ubud Market, where you can browse a wide variety of handicrafts, paintings, woodcarvings, silver jewelry, and colorful batik fabrics. It’s the perfect spot to pick up souvenirs and experience the local atmosphere.
Continue to Batubulan Village, famous for its traditional batik-making. Here, you’ll not only watch artisans demonstrate the intricate dyeing process but also take part in a hands-on batik workshop. Create your own colorful design and bring it home as a unique reminder of your Bali journey.
In the late afternoon, drive south to Sanur (approx. 1.5–2 hours), a laid-back coastal town on Bali’s southeast shore. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening by the calm beach, perfect for a sunset stroll.
After an early morning hotel pick-up, your driver will take you to the harbor, where a speedboat awaits to whisk you across the sea to Nusa Penida.
Upon arrival, begin your adventure with a tour of the island’s stunning west coast. Marvel at the world-famous Kelingking Beach (T-Rex Bay), admire the natural archway and turquoise cove of Broken Beach, and discover the surreal beauty of Angel’s Billabong, a crystal-clear natural infinity pool carved into the rocks.
After sightseeing, enjoy a tasty local lunch at a seaside restaurant before continuing the adventure offshore. In the afternoon, set out on a snorkeling trip to some of Nusa Penida’s most beautiful sites - Crystal Bay with its calm, clear waters, GT Point with its rich marine life, and Manta Bay, where, with a bit of luck, you may spot majestic manta rays gliding gracefully through the ocean.
After the tour, return by speedboat to Sanur and relax on the drive back to your hotel.
It is time to end your unforgettable 7-Day Bali Family Tour. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) for your departure flight. Safe travels!
