Day 1 Denpasar Arrival, Bali | Airport Pick-up & Drive to Ubud

Welcome to Bali, Island of the Gods! Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar Airport, your local driver will meet you and take you on a scenic drive (about 1.5 -2 hours) to Ubud. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali is a destination where natural beauty, cultural richness, and tropical charm come together. Golden beaches and fiery sunsets set the stage for romance, while emerald rice terraces, hidden waterfalls, and volcanic peaks invite adventure. Ancient temples, vibrant festivals, and daily offerings reveal a deeply spiritual culture found nowhere else in the world.

Arrival Ideas: Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar Airport, is Bali’s only international gateway. It’s well connected with direct flights from major cities across Asia (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Tokyo, etc.), Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane), the Middle East (Dubai, Doha), and some European hubs.

Day 2 Ubud - Mount  Batur - Lovina | Mount Batur Sunrise Trek & Hot Springs

Rise in the early hours (around 2:00–2:30 AM pick-up) and drive about 1.5 hours to Mount Batur (1,717 m), one of Bali’s most active volcanoes. Begin your trek under the stars and reach the summit just in time for a spectacular sunrise, as the sky bursts into vibrant colors and illuminates the volcanic landscape and serene Lake Batur below.

At the top, enjoy light refreshments while taking in panoramic views of Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and even Mount Rinjani in Lombok on clear mornings. After the sunrise, descend the volcano and meet your driver.

Then go on to visit Pura Batur and rest in the natural hot springs to regain your strength.

After the tour, drive north to reach the serene shores of Lovina Beach (approx. 1.5-2 hours). Check in to your hotel, relax by the sea, and get ready for tomorrow’s dolphin-watching.

Day 3 Lovina to Ubud | Dolphin Watching

Rise early (around 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM) for an unforgettable dolphin-watching boat trip off the coast of Lovina. Dolphins are most active in the early morning as they come closer to shore to feed, and this timing also rewards you with a stunning sunrise over the ocean.

The early morning at Lovina is a spectacle, with dolphins surfacing in playful pods, leaping and diving across the shimmering waters. Their energetic movements paint a magical scene against the glowing morning sky. The experience is conducted respectfully, allowing the dolphins to behave naturally while you capture unforgettable moments from the boat.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and some rest. After driving south to Ubud (approx. 2-3 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 4 Kuta to Uluwatu | Scenic Cliffside Roads, Uluwatu Cliff, Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance, Jimbaran Beach

This morning, drive from Kuta to Uluwatu (about 1 hour). The route follows dramatic cliffside roads carved into limestone, with one side rising into steep rock walls and the other opening to the vast Indian Ocean. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of crashing waves, rugged coastlines, and even sections of road that cut directly through stone cliffs.

Arrive at the dramatic Uluwatu Cliff (often called Lover’s Cliff), where towering cliffs plunge 70 meters into the sea and waves crash far below. Perched right on top is the sacred Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu), one of Bali’s most revered sea temples.

The temple’s cliff-top location makes it one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in Bali, especially at sunset, when the horizon glows in shades of gold and crimson. Stroll along the pathways that wind around the temple grounds, take in the sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, and feel the spiritual atmosphere that has drawn pilgrims here for centuries.

As the sun sets, gather in the temple’s open-air amphitheater to watch the Kecak Fire Dance. Pronounced “ket-chak,” this is a traditional Balinese performance accompanied by rhythmic chanting. More than 50 men wearing Balinese sarongs sit in a circle, chanting in unison as dancers re-enact dramatic episodes from the Hindu epic Ramayana. As fire torches light up the stage against the twilight sky, the performance becomes truly unforgettable.

After the show, take a short drive (about 15–30 minutes) to Jimbaran Beach, famous for its golden sands and beachfront seafood dining. Check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening by the sea.

Day 5 Bali to Lombok by Fast Boat | Port Pick-up and Hotel Check-in

Today, you'll leave Bali by boat for Lombok, Bali’s quiet sister island. Located east of Bali, Lombok is known for its pristine natural scenery and diverse culture, boasting white-sand beaches, crystal-clear water, and the famous roaring waterfall and rafting. Unlike Bali, it offers a slower and quieter pace, making it the perfect destination for uncrowded yet safe adventures. Couples can explore unspoiled villages, discover the mysterious Pink Beach, and experience thrilling rafting and waterfall tours together.

Take ferry from Sanur Port to Bangsal Port (about 3.5 hours). Then, your driver will pick you up from the port and take you to your hotel in Senggigi.

Day 6 Lombok Adventure | Lombok Rafting, Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu Waterfall

Spend the entire day on an iconic rafting and waterfall adventure in Lombok.

Rafting and waterfalls are located near the center of Lombok and are important natural adventure attractions. Rafting is a little-known adventure highlight on the island.

The rafting sections are mostly of moderate to low difficulty, with clear waterways and a high safety rating. During the more rapid sections, you'll get out to walk a short distance, allowing the rafts to navigate the rapids on their own. Later, you can try an exhilarating cliff jump before getting back on the boat. This whole experience is incredibly fun and a great way to get your adrenaline pumping.

Then, head to the twins-like waterfall. Benang Stokel Waterfall cascades down a high rock face like a vertical line. Benang Kelambu Waterfall is like a curtain of silk, with water seeping out from vines and bushes. You can hike for a short distance through banana groves, bamboo forests, and coffee trees before you reach them.

Stay overnight at Senggigi.

Day 7 Lombok Adventure | Sade Village, Selong Belanak Beach Surfing

Today, spend your time exploring a traditional village and a surfing beach on southern Lombok.

After breakfast, drive 1-1.5 hours from Senggigi to Sade Village. Sade Village is a traditional village of the indigenous Sasak people, located in the central-south part of Lombok. It is a must-visit cultural attraction on the island.

Sasak people still preserve their traditional customs, clothing, and language, which you can only find here. The village's main feature is its traditional Sasak architecture, consisting of about 150 low, rectangular bungalows arranged closely together. From a distance, the village looks like a giant haystack. The tall, steep thatched roofs are made of dry grass or palm leaves, while the walls and floors are constructed with bamboo and clay.

Another special feature is hand-woven textiles, which the diligent women of the village spin from locally grown cotton. The beautiful fabrics depict local plants, villagers, thatched houses, granaries, and chickens. The pace of life here is slow and peacefu. It’s a great chance to experience authentic culture and lifestyle. You may even catch a traditional performance if you're lucky.

Next, you'll drive for 40 minutes to Selong Belanak Beach, one of the most popular and beginner-friendly surfing beaches in southern Lombok. With the help of professional instructors, try your first surf lesson and experience the thrill of riding the waves.

Low hills embrace a tranquil, crescent-shaped bay. The beach boasts soft, white sand, and the clear water has a beautiful gradient of blue. With small, gentle waves, it's hailed as "Lombok's Most Beautiful Crescent Bay." The best time for surfing is during the morning and evening low tides.

After the tour, drive back to Senggigi.

Day 8 Lombok - Gili Islands - Lombok | Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan Snorkeling Tour, Gili Trawangan Biking

Today, start your Gili island hopping tour. Gili Islands are three small islands off the northwestern coast of Lombok: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Gili Meno. They are one of Indonesia's most popular island-hopping paradises, famous for having no motor vehicles, white sand, crystal-clear water, sea turtle snorkeling, and a slow pace of life.

After breakfast, drive 30 minutes to Bangsal port. You'll first snorkel at a fish park near Gili Air, then head to a turtle point near Gili Meno.

Gili Air: This island has the best snorkeling! The schools of fish are the most abundant and diverse, and the corals are brightly colored. You'll see so many fish you didn't see at the other islands! It's so fascinating you'll want to stay forever.

Gili Meno: The water is a bit deeper here and a beautiful, deep blue—like the color of a glass marble. It's a complete spiritual cleansing. You'll mainly see turtles, small fish, corals, and statues. There are more fish and corals here than at Gili Trawangan.

Then, take a break at Gili Trawangan. After you've had lunch (at your own expense), you can ride a bicycle around the island in about 30 to 60 minutes. Since motorized vehicles are prohibited, transportation is by bicycle or horse-drawn carriage, giving the atmosphere a free and lively feel. When you find a beach you like, you can just find a spot to relax and sunbathe or swim. As far as the eye can see, there is jelly-like water, white sand, and abundant coral reefs.

In the afternoon, continue snorkeling a statue or shipwreck site near Gili Trawangan.

Here, the water is incredibly clear, glass-like, with a green tint. The highlight is a ring of ancient statues arranged in a perfect circle. The snorkeling spot is about 1 meter deep.

After tour, take fast boat back to Lombok.

Important Travel Tips for Visiting South Korea

About South Korea Visa:

Normally, you need to apply for a visa to visit South Korea. Typically, you would apply for a tourist visa at a South Korean embassy or consulate in your home country. However, there is also a visa-free policy for South Korea. The country has a visa waiver program that enables nationals of certain countries to enter South Korea for tourism or short-term visits without the need for a visa in advance. Additionally, South Korea offers an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system for travelers from select countries, allowing for online authorization before travel. The ETA permits stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes.

For more detailed visa information regarding travel to South Korea, please reach out to our travel expert.

South Korea Weather & Best Time to Visit

South Korea experiences four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

  • Winter (December - February): Very cold, especially in Seoul and northern areas, with temperatures dropping below freezing. Pack warm clothing.
  • Spring (March - May): Mild weather, but bring layers as temperatures can vary.
  • Summer (June - August): Hot and humid, with a monsoon season in July. Light clothing and umbrellas are essential.
  • Autumn (September - November): Cool and dry, a popular time to visit for the beautiful fall foliage.

Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) are widely regarded as the best times to visit South Korea due to their mild temperatures, beautiful natural scenery (cherry blossoms in spring and fall foliage in autumn), and numerous cultural festivals.

Transportation (Flight, KTX or Private Car)

For traveling between cities like Seoul and Gyeongju or Busan, the KTX (Korea's high-speed train) is the best option. If you're traveling from Seoul to Gyeongju with a stop in Andong, a private car is more convenient. For trips between Seoul or Busan and Jeju Island, flying is the most common and efficient way.

Other Travel Tips:

  1. Language: Korean is the main language: English is limited, especially outside big cities.
  2. Currency: Korean Won (KRW). Credit cardsare accepted widely, but carry some cash for small shops.
  3. Dining: Chopsticks: Practice using metal chopsticks, as they are common in restaurants.Shared meals: Many Korean dishes are shared at the table.Spicy food: Be ready for spicy dishes like kimchi and tteokbokki.
  4. Hanbok: Rent traditional Korean clothing and visit Gyeongbokgung Palace for free.
