Leshan Giant Buddha Tours | Leshan Tours, Leshan Buddha Trips

The Leshan Giant Buddha  is a massive stone statue of Buddha, standing 71 meters (233 feet) tall, making it the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. The statue was carved out of a red sandstone cliff overlooking the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers, with the intention of protecting sailors from the treacherous waters at the confluence. It is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, which is 140 kilometers away from Chengdu.

If you plan to travel to Sichuan, don't miss the Leshan Giant Buddha . As you approach the site, a sense of awe washes over you, for you know you are about to witness one of humanity's most remarkable achievements. Whether you get an up-close look at his head and then descend the steep, winding stairway, or embark on a boat tour to admire it from the waters below, the Leshan Giant Buddha evokes a profound sense of humility and reverence. Each delicate detail showcases the artisan's skill and devotion to their craft.

How to Plan a Leshan Giant Buddha Tour?

One-Day Tour: If you're on a tight schedule, consider a day trip that includes both Chengdu and Leshan.
