From there, discover the Bou Inania Madrasa, widely considered the most magnificent historic college in Fes. This architectural masterpiece seamlessly blends local Berber heritage with sophisticated Andalusian aesthetics. As you explore the peaceful central courtyard, you will marvel at Morocco’s finest craftsmanship, where detailed plasterwork, fine carved cedarwood, and vibrant Zellige tiling create an atmosphere of quiet, timeless elegance.

Next, pause outside Al-Quaraouiyine, established in 859 by Fatima al-Fihri and honored as the world’s oldest continuously operating university.
