After the 3-hour journey, enjoy a relaxing evening at your hotel and recharge for your first day on the slopes tomorrow.
If you still have the energy, consider trying night skiing.
Today, experience Yongpyong Ski Resort, South Korea’s largest and most famous ski resort. As a former Olympic venue and iconic filming location for Winter Sonata, this world-class destination boasts 28 diverse slopes catering to all skill levels. Its high altitude ensures the longest ski season in the country, featuring soft, powdery snow with low moisture content that rivals the legendary slopes of Hokkaido, Japan.
Centered around Dragon Plaza, Yongpyong Ski Resort features 28 slopes fanning out across four main areas: Gold Valley, Silver Valley, Mega Green, and the Rainbow zone.
First, enjoy a private ski lesson (available for 2 or 4 hours). Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced skier looking to tackle intermediate and advanced slopes, we offer 1:1 or small group sessions tailored to your skill level. We can also arrange lessons in various languages for your convenience.
Second, experience the Balwangsan Cable Car. As one of Korea’s longest and most scenic gondolas, it spans 3.7 kilometers with an 800-meter elevation gain. The ride takes you from the base directly to the summit of Mount Balwangsan (1,458m), soaring over snow-covered forests, valleys, and frozen waterfalls.
At the Sky Walk observatory, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Daegwallyeong mountain range on clear days.
The rest of the day is yours to ski at your leisure.

You can enjoy a free day at Yongpyong Ski Resort. The resort area is full of restaurants, cafés, and cozy condos, making it a favorite among international visitors seeking a complete winter getaway.
After an exhilarating day on the slopes, unwind at the Hop Spring Spa and enjoy a relaxing soak with views of snow-covered mountains.
Today’s itinerary includes transfer service only. If you need assistance with lift tickets, lessons, or equipment rental, please contact our travel advisor.

Today, drive 3 hours back to Seoul from Yongpyong Ski Resort for a half day city tour.
First, discover Gyeongbokgung Palace, a masterpiece of royal architecture. Your guide will lead you from the Gwanghwamun entrance to the tranquil Hyangwonjeong pavilion. Don't miss the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10:00 or 14:00 (daily except Tuesdays), or the chance to wear a Hanbok for photos. This historic retreat offers a profound glimpse into Korea’s royal past.
Continue to Bukchon Hanok Village, a historic neighborhood famous for its traditional "hanoks." Formerly a noble enclave, the area showcases stunning wooden architecture that now houses charming teahouses and guesthouses. It is a picturesque district where you can wander through narrow alleys and enjoy the beauty of ancient Korean culture.
Conclude your day at Myeong-dong, "Ginza of Seoul.” Located near the iconic N Seoul Tower, it serves as a global hub attracting visitors from around the world. Here, you can freely explore the latest Korean fashion trends and pop culture. Beyond shopping, it is a culinary hotspot with delicious Korean street food and authentic local cuisine (at your own expense).
Optional Seoul Night Tour (NANTA or Seoul Tower):
Option 1 - NANTA: It is Myeong-dong’s signature kitchen comedy, where chefs turn cooking into a high-energy spectacle. Using acrobatics and rhythm instead of words, this hilarious performance is perfectly understandable for every traveler.
Option 2 - N Seoul Tower (Cable Car): Ascend to tower to visit one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. From the tower’s outdoor park, you can take in romantic panoramas of Bukhansan Mountain and the Hangang River.
