4 Star Maldives Resort: Budget-friendly, Marine Life

Reethi Beach Resort is a 4-star hotel in Maldives that belongs to RBRM Pvt Ltd. This place is right in the Baa Atoll, which is a special UNESCO protected area. That means amazing marine life! It is super close to Hanifaru Bay, basically the world's capital for Manta Rays - you can see them from May to November. And Whale Sharks too, especially from June to December. If you love snorkeling or diving, you're in for a treat with vibrant reefs and tons of fish.

Whether it's your honeymoon and you're on budget, or you're bringing the family (they have family suites!), it's a great fit. You get beautiful white-sand beaches and a stunning lagoon.

Once you land in Male, it's just a 35-minute seaplane ride to the resort. And when you're there? No way you'll get bored! You can hit the gym, relax at the spa, or try many water sports like snorkeling, diving, water skiing, canoeing, and paddleboarding. They also have cool excursions like fishing, dolphin cruises, or even a whale shark expedition!

Important Travel Tips for Visiting Maldives

Transfer Service & Policy:

There are two ways to get to Reethi Beach Resort: Seaplane Transfer or a Domestic Flight combined with a speedboat transfer. For detailed prices for adults and children, please consult us.

Domestic Flight + Speedboat:

The flight time is about20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to Reethi Beach Resort.
Arrival transfer is guaranteed for international flights landing at Male’ airport no later than 16:00 (4:00 PM). Departure transfer is guaranteed for international flights departing Male’ airport no earlier than 09:00 (9:00 AM).
Guests departing on international flights from Male’ prior to 09:00 (9:00 AM) must depart from Reethi Beach the day before and stay overnight in Male’ at their own cost. Guests arriving on international flights landing in Male’ after 16:00 (4:00 PM) must stay overnight in Male’ at their own cost and will be transferred to Reethi Beach the next day.

Seaplane Transfer:

Seaplane transfers are available during daylight hours only.
Arrival transfer is guaranteed for guests who report to the check-in counters by 15:30 (3:30 PM) at the latest. Departure transfer is guaranteed for international flights departing Male’ airport no earlier than 09:00 (9:00 AM). Guests departing on international flights from Male’ prior to 09:00 (9:00 AM) must depart from the Resort the day before and stay overnight in Male’ at their own cost.

Check-in & Check-out Time:

Check-in time is 14:00 (2:00 PM). Check-out time is 12:00 (noon).
The resort operates on island time, which is Male’ time plus 1 hour.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and can only be guaranteed by booking an additional night at the respective end of your stay.

Cancellation Policy:

For Stays from April 15, 2025, to October 31, 2025:

Within 4 to 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total cost for the stay will be charged.
Within 24 hours to 3 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total cost for the stay will be charged.
Less than 24 hours notice or No Shows: The full cost of the stay will be charged.

Relax and pampered

Repeated visit with new management.
Beyong words and a very good stay on Reethi.
Besides the dragging time of waiting for domestic transfer from Male, everything on the island is wonderful for our 12 nights stay.
Room is spacious. Our room boy is cheerful and works on point.
Food is good. We are on BB so besides breakfast at the main restaurant, freedom to have lunch and dinner elsewhere and times we like.
Waiters and bartender are a joy to interact.
Water sport and dive centre staff are friendly.
Front office and reservation staff are efficient and helpful.
Staff who keep the beach and path clean and comfortable to walk on barefoot are greet us good morning with big smiles that made the day brighter.
Team Reethi beach staff really put in effort to make their guests happy and comfortable.
