From start to finish we were being taken care of by our host Rahu who was always pleasant, attentive to detail and caring. Be it recommendation and reservation of the next dining venue, to late night pamper drinks and snacks originally lacking at the villa, she always got things sorted.
Then there was their chief sommelier Evelyn, apart from offering her expert opinions on wines and sake, took the extra mile to share with us many interesting details about the resort, from the operation philosophy, stories behind restaurants and menus, to the make of fixtures and buildings around the resort.
Other staff were also very cordial, professional and ensured that guests were well cared for literally from start to finish.
Food we had were all delicious. Interesting note that certain dishes were prepared and presented slightly differently at different restaurants despite bearing the same name. Perhaps this tweak deepened memories towards each restaurant.
There are still a number of dining outlets which we haven't tried before we depart. Hope we will return and try them all soon.
Lastly, thanks for the surprise upgrade to the exceptional villa which we would otherwise not have reserved given the size of the travelling group.
