Important Travel Tips for Visiting Maldives

1. Transfer Options (extra charge): Seaplane transfer to the resort takes approximately 45 minutes from the airport. For arrivals, we can arrange seaplane transfers for international flights landing at or before 3:30 PM (this timing refers to the actual landing time, not the scheduled one). For departures, seaplane transfers can be arranged for international flights departing from the airport at or after 9:00 AM (local time).

2. Check-in & Check-out: Check-in time is at 15:00 hrs. To guarantee an early check-in, an additional night should be reserved at 100% of the nightly rate. Check-out is at 12:00 hrs. Late check-out is subject to availability and will incur a fee of 100% of the nightly rate, charged directly to the guest. Please note: The resort's time is one hour ahead of local time.

3. Cancellation Policy:

Low Season (May 10, 2025 - September 30, 2025): A 100% cancellation fee is applicable within 14 days of arrival.
Shoulder & High Season (January 10, 2025 - May 09, 2025 & October 01, 2025 - December 22, 2025): A 50% cancellation fee applies within 30 days of arrival, and a 100% cancellation fee is applicable within 15 days of arrival.
Festive Season (December 23, 2024 - January 09, 2025): A 100% cancellation fee applies within 60 days prior to arrival.

I’ve been to the Maldives before, but The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort truly sets a whole new standard. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect.

We tried all the different food options, and each meal was outstanding — the variety, quality, and presentation were flawless. What made the stay even more special was the hospitality. Everyone on the team was so warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They paid attention to every little detail, making us feel cared for at every moment.

A special mention goes to Abanoub, who was there for us all the time. He is incredibly sharp, professional, and always one step ahead of what we needed. His dedication and care elevated our stay to the next level.

Exceptional Service and Stunning Overwater Villa!

We had an amazing stay at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort! The overwater villa was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and with incredible views that made every moment feel special. The food was outstanding too, with every meal being a highlight of the day.

The service really made the trip unforgettable. Everyone was warm and welcoming, but a special shout-out to Mena, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — truly exceptional service that made us feel so well taken care of.

The only small downside was that the pool in the villa isn’t heated, so it was chilly most times. But honestly, that’s a tiny detail compared to everything else. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!
