My communication with Fox was seamless, Fox understood clearly our custom requirements for our 2nd trip to China mainland, we were not disappointed. Our guides and drivers were very professional and spoke good English. Particularly guide Jasmine from Chongqing she was very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful when we wanted to post gifts home (excellent postal service btw). Dream trip to China! I traveled to China with my sister . My experience with Asia Odyssey was absolutely impeccable. The itinerary was amazing, perfectly planned, and every detail was handled with great care.

The guides were outstanding – professional, punctual, attentive, and all spoke excellent English, which made communication effortless.

The hotels were wonderful, very well located, and everything ran smoothly. The transfers and travel logistics were perfectly timed, so I never lost time and was able to make the most of every day.

It was truly a dream trip – Asia Odyssey made my long-time wish of discovering China come true in the best possible way.

When I was planning a trip to China for my family of 3 in June 2025, I decided to slot in a 4D3N trip to Dunhuang and Jiayuguan. I enquired with 3 service providers I sourced from the internet. While I got a reasonable quote from all 3 providers, it was Fox from Asia Odyssey Travel that made several follow-ups with me, offering to study and tailor the trip to suit my own programme. Fox's outstanding and professional service was what sealed the deal for my family. 

And we were glad we made that decision. Throughout our trip to Dunhuang and Jiayuguan, our guide Cathy was also super professional. While my daughter and I speak and understand Mandarin, my wife doesn't. But Cathy was fluent in both English and Mandarin so we were kept very well informed of all the places she brought us to. She was patient, understanding and also humorous at times. 

And our driver Mr Luo was efficient as well. 

All in all, we had a wonderful trip, all thanks to the tireless effort of Fox, Cathy and Mr Luo. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and wished we had booked for a longer trip.

Fox planned the trip well and took in our considerations as we are traveling as 3 families with young children. The driver Mr Jiao was also very helpful with our luggages and help us search for nice restaurants when we needed to. He was very friendly throughout the trip from Shanghai - Suzhou - Hangzhou - Shanghai. He also caters to our last minute plans and drove us to where we wanted to go. Highly recommend them to plan trips that caters to family's needs. 

I got a tour to Tibet and had a great experience.

From the start I was contacted by Fox and he took care of everything for me: visa entries for Tibet, flight tickets, contact with local guides, instructions about how to dress up appropriately and how to handle altitude sickness. It was a great experience to have someone attentive with the trip organisation.

During my days in Tibet I was in a small group with people that didn’t speak English. Only the guide would speak English, and our driver, although he wouldn’t speak English, he was also super friendly and attentive to my needs.

The food and suggestions offered by the tour guide were always on point. I do feel my guide went the extra mile to make me comfortable, maybe because I had no one else to talk to. I think if there were more English speakers in the group to share this experience with, it would have been a plus. Nevertheless it was a great trip and I totally recommend it.

Ps: I went as well to the Everest base camp and bought an oxygen tank that it was too big, I bought it as precaution and I do refrer a little because it was expensive. I saw people there with ones half of the size I got. If you don’t have many altitude symptoms, a medium tank is enough to provide peace of mind.

Recent trip Xi’an was pleasant and enjoyable. AOT Fox was professional in arrange itinerary and good hotel stay for us. We are delighted. Thanks Fox of AOT.

"Amazing cultural experience! I joined the 5-Day Guizhou Ethnic Tour, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We explored the Miao and Dong villages, experiencing their rich traditions and incredibly warm hospitality. Our guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable and really passionate about sharing local culture. We even got to join in a traditional Miao dance and taste some amazing local food.

The highlight for me was staying overnight in Zhaoxing Dong Village. The drum towers lit up at night were magical, and waking up to mist-covered mountains felt like something out of a dream. The whole itinerary was well-organized, with just the right balance of activities and downtime.

If you're looking to truly experience Guizhou's ethnic culture and stunning landscapes, this tour is a must. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants more than just sightseeing.

Tibet really amazing recomand come and see by yourself. The culture, history , religion, scenery all are very special if it's possible I will visit it again and book same guider to make sure have a nice trip.
