I just came back from the 30-Day China Panorama Tour from Guangzhou with Asia Odyssey Travel, and it was truly one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever joined.
From the moment I landed in Guangzhou, everything was well-coordinated. The local guide greeted us at the airport and made us feel welcome right away. We started with classic Cantonese highlights like the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Lychee Bay, and traditional dim sum — a great introduction to southern China’s culture.
The route that followed was impressive. We cruised along the Li River in Guilin, cycled through Yangshuo’s peaceful countryside, and admired the Longji Rice Terraces. In Yunnan, Dali and Lijiang’s old towns were full of character, with snow-capped mountains in the distance. Chengdu was all about pandas and Sichuan food, Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong looked like scenes from a painting, and Chongqing’s mountain city views were unforgettable. The trip ended with Beijing’s Great Wall and Forbidden City, and Shanghai’s skyline — the perfect contrast of history and modern life.
Everything ran smoothly throughout. The guides were professional and friendly, the hotels were clean and comfortable, and transportation was efficient. My personal highlights were sharing bamboo rice with local villagers in Longji, standing by the turquoise lakes of Jiuzhaigou, and watching the city lights in Chongqing after dinner.
We would like to thank Victor (the travel consultant),Tommy (our tour guide) and Driver Sifu (my apologies for not getting him name) making our 7 days *Guangzhou-Foshan-Shenzhen* such a memorable trip for our family. We travelled in a group of 16 family members (Ranging 4 years to 73 years) and they just done that so perfectly. This tour was customised, covering Guangzhou, Foshan, Kaipeng, Chung San, Dongguan, Shenzhen.
Victor was considerate and thoughtful - the schedule was spaced out with time for relaxing breaks and leisurely visits.
It was both educational and "experiencial" and we had time to mingle with the locals and visited both old and new parts of each of the cities.

Recently we have 5 of us in my family engaged a China private tour with Asia Odyssey Travel. We have an experienced tour planner, Miss Cecilia Zhang to plan our itinerary for Maoming, Guilin and Guangzhou for 13 nights. We were provided with experienced well spoken English speaking guides, Tommy and Peter. Not only that they’re also knowledgeable in their history which we enjoyed it very much. They are courteous and polite in many ways and making us feel very comfortable and enjoyable throughout our trip. We have experienced drivers who drove us everywhere and very attentive to our needs. Cecilia was very helpful in organising a porter to meet us at the train station picking all our large luggages to transfer from one train to another train in Guilin travelling from Maoming. We were so relieved especially it was very crowded with passengers and a long walk from one train to another train in a short time. We were given 4 stars rated hotels which are comfortable and clean also we were provided all very delicious meals daily. The whole trip is very enjoyable and also entertaining.
Cecilia’s service is well recommended and excellent and we are looking forward to having her again in our next trip.

I love the trip as it was meant for my mother to go to my grandma's old hometown as a wish since many years ago. The trip was very well planned and hosted by very warm and ultra friendly hosts at wuzhou and guangzhou. The one at Guilin is professional and especially attentive to details. Even the drivers are super friendly and warm to us making us feel so safe and able to enjoy very much. Great kudos to Asia Odyssey for the coordination among all the parties and keeping tab on me several times during the trip!
