With our exclusive Kashgar Tours, journey back in time to the enchanting city of Kashgar, a key crossroads on the ancient Silk Road and a melting pot of cultures and traditions.
Kashgar boasts a rich history spanning over 2,000 years. Once known as the Kingdom of Shule, it was one of the thirty-six ancient kingdoms of the Western Regions. Situated in the southwestern part of China's Xinjiang region, Kashgar served as a vital trading hub on the Silk Road, where the southern, northern, and central routes converged at China's western edge. Bordering several countries, Kashgar saw ancient caravans and envoys pass through, transporting Chinese goods to Central Asia, Western Asia, and even Europe. This unique geographical position established Kashgar as a crucial crossroads for East-West cultural exchanges, fostering both the blending and collision of diverse cultures
Our Kashgar tours invite you to explore the historic Kashgar Old Town. Wander through a maze of narrow alleys, marvel at traditional residences with diverse architectural styles, and immerse yourself in a unique fusion of cultures and traditions. Runny was our travel consultant for a group of 10 people. Runny was professional and very prompt in answering our queries and concerns about the trip. The tour guides provided could speak English which is a plus point for us. The hotels provided were great as the rooms were big and clean. Food was great as we tried the local food and the portions were very generous. One point to note for improvement was that the train ride from Dunhuang to Turpan was at 5pm and hence we arrived very late in Turpan. Flying into Kashgar was also quite late and we were all very tired. However, inspite of this, everyone said that they really enjoyed the trip very much. The sights, food and accommodation were great, so thanks to Runny for a well organised trip. A friend had asked about our trip and I recommended Runny to him.
