Phi Phi Islands: Located 45 km southeast of Phuket, the Phi Phi Islands are a must-see! It takes roughly 1-2 hours away by ferry or speedboat from Phuket, making them a popular day-trip destination.

Here you can explore the world-famous Maya Bay, with its stunning beauty. Swim in the emerald waters of Pileh Lagoon, surrounded by towering cliffs. Discover Viking Cave, with its mysterious history. And don't forget Monkey Beach, where you can meet friendly monkeys!

Phang Nga Bay: Nestled about 50-70 km northeast of Phuket, Phang Nga Bay is famed for its towering limestone cliffs.

Take a kayak to discover the hidden lagoons and sea caves of Hong Island. Visit Panyee Island, a floating village built on stilts, and paddle through the scenic beauty surrounding Panak Island. For a tranquil escape, relax on Lawa Island's peaceful shores.

James Bond Island: Also a part of Phang Nga Bay, it became famous after appearing in the 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. You can visit James Bond Island by speedboat (about 1-1.5 hours) from Phuket.

Phuket International Airport: Located in the northern part of the island, it connects Phuket with Bangkok, Chiang Mai, etc., in Thailand. Getting to Phuket Town takes around 45 minutes by taxi, airport bus, or shared minivan.

Now, about the piers:

  • Rassada Pier: Close to Phuket Town, about a 15-20 minute taxi ride. It's a major departure point for ferries to the Phi Phi Islands and other nearby islands.
  • Phuket Chalong Pier: Situated on the south side, about a 20-30 minute taxi ride from Phuket Town. It's popular for boat trips to Racha Island and Coral Island.
  • Ao Po Pier: On the east coast, further north, about a 1 hour drive from Phuket Town. This pier often serves as the departure point for tours to Phang Nga Bay, including the famous James Bond Island.
