By Air: While Yangshuo doesn't have its own airport, the nearest is Guilin Liangjiang International Airport. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to Yangshuo, which is approximately 70 kilometers away.

By Train: Guilin has two main train stations - Guilin Railway Station and Guilin North Railway Station. Both stations have trains coming from major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Upon arrival in Guilin, you can continue your journey to Yangshuo by bus or taxi.

Direct Trains to Yangshuo: Yangshuo also has its own train station, which connects to some major cities. However, this station is located a bit outside the main town, so you'd need a short taxi or bus ride to reach the town center.

Smooth booking and beautiful scenery

Our Yangtze cruise on Victoria Isabella was part of a longer China tour arranged by Asia Odyssey Travel. We had visited Shanghai, Guilin, and Xi’an before joining the cruise in Chongqing.
The cruise was a welcome break from busy sightseeing. The ship was comfortable, and our cabin had a balcony with excellent views. The main guides spoke good English and explained the schedule clearly. Excursions were interesting and not too rushed.
The ship is a solid mid-range choice. It was clean, well managed, and enjoyable. We were happy with Asia Odyssey Travel’s recommendation.

Expensive, but the quality shows

I usually travel independently, but for the Yangtze River I decided to use Asia Odyssey Travel. That was a good decision. They arranged the cruise, transfers, and all details clearly.
Yangzi Explorer is more expensive than many other Yangtze ships, but the quality is obvious. The cabin was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The ship was quiet and never felt crowded.
The crew were professional and friendly. English service was good, which made the trip easier for me as a solo traveler. I also met other international guests during meals and excursions.
If you want a peaceful and higher-end Yangtze cruise, Yangzi Explorer is a very good choice.

Classic Yangtze experience with good service

We wanted a comfortable cruise with good facilities, and this ship suited us well. Yangtze Miracle is quite large, so it has more of a resort feeling than a small boutique ship. There were many passengers, but the ship was well organized. Our cabin was clean and had a nice balcony.

Asia Odyssey Travel gave us useful advice before booking. They also helped us connect this cruise with our Chengdu and Guilin trip.
