Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa: Triple Chill & Fun with 3 Maldives Islands

Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa, located in the South Malé Atoll of the Maldives, is a 35-minute speedboat ride from Malé. Anantara Dhigu Resort opened on August 1, 2006, and has been renovated in 2024. It is also one of the three sister islands in the Maldives. Among the three islands, including Anantara Veli Resort Maldives and Naladhu Private Island, Anantara Dhigu Island is the largest and boasts some of the best lagoon views in the Maldives.

With a total of 110 villas, including 40 overwater villas and 70 beach villas, the Anantara Dhigu Resort offers a variety of accommodation options to suit all budgets. Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort finished a 4-month renovation in June 2024. Overwater villas got a "Sailboat Serenity" makeover, including new pools and upgraded interiors. The Dhigu resort does have two restaurants and one bar, and guests have more access to the dining and entertainment facilities at the neighboring Veli Island.

Returning from our week in the Maldives we can confirm that we have chosen the right resort for us.
Stunning: one word to describe it.
Gorgeous island, gorgeous resort, fantastic staff. Everyone, no one excluded. Always smiling, available, attentive.
We stayed in both the Sunset Beach Pool Villa and the Overwater Sunset. Both accommodations are dreamlike. Excellent cleanliness, excellent services.
Relaxation and peace and at the same time, if desired, many complimentary and non-complimentary activities to be enjoyed.
Top cuisine. We are Italian and we care a lot about food and we recognize that we are pretentious. Without a doubt the foreign restaurant where we ate the best Italian food. Chef Roberto Panariello, Ramu and their guys top in everything!

Smiles and greetings from all the staff at all times and in every part of the island.
Everything was truly flawless!
The lagoon is fantastic, the reef is not very close, but the beauty of the colors and the peace that reigns are unique. Rays, turtles, sharks and fish can also be seen near the watervillas and in some reef spots in the lagoon.
We could go on further but in reality it has to be seen to be believed. Stupendous!

My wife and I stayed at over-water pool Villa and it was great; Kadir our host was very supportive all time helping with activities, reservations and any kind of recommendation.
