A Small Slice of Paradise

This was a small slice of paradise that we all enjoyed immensely and could not fault. If you want to find a beautiful island, with fantastic facilities, and the most welcoming and responsive support team then this is the place. From the moment we arrived at Male International we were very well looked after. This resort has recently changed hands and the current team cannot do enough for you. The superb levels of support, coupled with the island's natural habitat and the man-made facilities ensured that this was a family holiday to remember for all the right reasons. Too many members of the support team to thank for making our experience so very special; suffice to say that everyone that we met enriched our holiday through their welcoming approach and desire to ensure that we wanted for nothing. Unforgettable holidays

It was my first trip to the Maldives,I must confess that it wasn't easy to spot the right island from such a large number.
Now I can say that
Havodda Resort in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll has ticked all the boxes of my unforgettable holidays.
The island is a true paradise in the middle of the Indian ocean surrounded by clear blue water, an amazing reef and offering beautiful white beaches.
I stayed in a water villa which was a unique experience. From my villa I could easily snorkel around toward the very close amazing reef.
The resort was also very good, excellent service, interesting culinary experience, good variety of facilities : swimming pool, diving centre, SPA, Gym, shop.
The staff are all very kind, always available and happy to help.
The diving centre offers snorkeling and diving excursions in the close areas, I would suggest the night snorkeling experience which is something really amazing and not very common to find in other islands.
Finally the weather was good, I spent 10 days at the end of February in Havodda and I had just a couple of tropical storms which didn't spoil my stay.
My experience was really great, if you like snorkeling this island is the perfect place.
