Day 1 Beijing Arrival
Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China, is a famous city with a history of more than 3,000 years. The important political structure and long history have brought the unique cultural diversity of Beijing City, leaving many splendid cultural heritages.
You will meet your tour guide in the airport or train station. He or she will help you check in your hotel. Have a good day!
Day 2 Beijing Royalty Exploration
The Forbidden City, where there are 9999 palaces or halls, is the largest and most complete palace group in China. The Forbidden City is divided into two areas, the outer and the inner courts. The outer court was the office for emperors, while the inter court was living area.
Tian’anmen Square is one of the largest city squares in the world. It is located in the center of Beijing City. Tian'anmen Gate is an entrance to the Forbidden City. Tian'anmen Square holds a flag-raising ceremony every morning.
Jingshan Park use to be the Royal Garden. Ancient emperors often came here to enjoy flowers, practice arrows, hold banquets, and climb mountains. At the top of Jingshan Mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the center of Beijing.
As the royal garden of the Qing Dynasty (1636 to 1912 AD), the Summer Palace is also the largest and most classic garden in China. You can go boating on Kunming Lake as the emperor used to do, or you can stroll on the willow bank embankment of the lake.
Day 3 Hike from Jiankou to Mutianyu
It takes around 4 hours for today’s hike. Some parts of the Jinkou Great Wall has collapsed, however your tour guide will find the safest hiking route with the most amazing sceneries for you. After the hike, you will drive to a guesthouse near the Huanghuacheng Great Wall.
The Jiankou Great Wall, also known as the Wild Great Wall, is the steepest section of the Great Wall in Beijing. The Jiankou Great Wall has not been developed, and retains its original historical features, the gravel and fallen bricks on the Jiankou Great Wall can be seen everywhere.
The Mutianyu Great Wall is suitable for visit all year round. In the spring, you can watch the flowers blooming, and it is a lush green in summer. Autumn is the most beautiful time due to the red maple leaves and golden ginkgo leaves. Winter’s snow view is also excellent.
Day 4 Beijing Half-Day Tour
The Temple of Heaven was a place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties （1368 to 1911 AD）worshiped the heavens and earth and prayed for good climate. The Temple of Heaven was built in 1420.
Hutong is an important part of traditional Beijing culture. It carries the past and memory of this ancient city. Hutongs first appeared around 700 years ago. There are more than 6,000 famous Hutongs in Beijing, which are like the veins of the city, linking all parts of the city.
After today's tour, You will be transferred to an airport or train station for your back trip.
