Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge & Grand Canyon Tours (Cost 2026)

The World's Tallest and Longest Glass Bridge, spanning 430m in length and suspended 300m above valley floor, crosses UNESCO-listed Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in Hunan Province. Prepare for a one-hour walk in Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge & Grand Canyon Tours with "Avatar-like" floating in mid-air right beneath your feet.

Your safety is ensured by 99 panes of triple-layered transparent glass. More, you are supported by our professional local agency (Asia Odyssey Travel Zhangjiajie), expert guides, and senior-friendly, door-to-door service. We offer best-value group tours and tailor-made private tours, all updated for 2026.

What Makes Our Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge & Grand Canyon Tour Different?

Group Tours (4-5 Days): Includes the Grand Canyon, Wulingyuan (Avatar Mountains), and Tianmen Mountain. Ideal for short stays and shared costs. Extensions to Fenghuang Ancient Town or "Golden Triangle" cities (Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai) are also available.
Customizable Private Tours (4-8 Days): Beyond the classics, we offer "New Ways" to explore, including UNESCO Laosicheng Tusi Site, hiking in Binlang Valley, or visiting Changsha. Best for privacy and 100% one-on-one guide focus.
Extended China Wonders (7-13 Days): Add Guilin/Yangshuo karst scenery, Chengdu Pandas and the Giant Buddha, Jiuzhaigou’s waters, or imperial Beijing, Terracotta Army in Xi'an, and modern Shanghai.

Why Trust Our Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge Tours?

We connect attractions using various models of comfortable vehicles (no crowded big buses). Groups are capped at 16 people, while private tours are fully personalized.

Our full-service approach handles every detail, including "internal transfers" like cable cars and elevators, and safety rules (such as no DSLR cameras on the bridge).

Our 24/7 team monitors flights and high-speed trains in real-time to ensure seamless transfers.

Come explore with our local Zhangjiajie team!

    1. Can I take my DSLR camera or backpack on the bridge?
    icon

Avoid the chaos of public storage lockers. With our private tour, your driver keeps your professional cameras and backpacks secure in the vehicle while you enjoy a light, hands-free walk on the bridge.

  • icon
    2. Is the Glass Bridge really worth it if I've already seen Tianmen Mountain?
    icon

While Tianmen offers high-altitude cliffs, the Glass Bridge is about architectural awe and a deep-canyon hike. We recommend the Glass Bridge for adventure seekers who want a full-day immersion including boat rides and elevators.

    3. How do the Routes (A, B, C) work? Which one should I book?
    icon

Don't book the wrong ticket! We exclusively arrange Route B for our private guests, covering everything: the Glass Bridge, the canyon hike, and the scenic boat ride. No regrets, no missed highlights.

  • icon
    4. I'm terrified of heights. Is it truly scary or just a tourist trap?
    icon

Safety first: The bridge is engineered with 99 panes of triple-layered glass. If you feel uneasy, your private guide will walk with you on the solid steel side rails or adjust the pace to ensure your comfort.

We have a wonderful family memory

Traveling with my parents and two energetic kids is usually a challenge, but this Zhangjiajie trip was actually... relaxing? Our guide was like a family member with thankful patient! We hit the Glass Bridge early to beat the altitude fear. It's rare to find a place that impresses a 70-year-old and a 7-year-old at the same time, but Zhangjiajie nailed it. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Lao Sicheng: Step Back in Time

We took a detour to Lao Sicheng and it was so hauntingly beautiful. It's a total vibe shift from the main park, peaceful, misty, and dripping with ancient Tujia culture. Walking through those mossy ruins felt like being in an Indiana Jones movie. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge, explaining the tribal kings and the Tusi system in a way that actually made sense.

I Love My Zhangjiajie Adventure

Just wrapped up 4 days in Zhangjiajie and honestly, my mind is blown. Hallelujah Mountains are even more surreal in person than in the movies. But the real MVP was our guide, Hu. This guy is a wizard—he knew all the secret spots to avoid the 2026 peak crowds and timed our visit to the pillars perfectly for that golden hour glow. No stress, no getting lost, just pure awe. 10/10 experience!
