Absolute paradise

Our first trip to the Maldives did not disappoint with this absolute gem of a resort. The pictures are spectacular but the resort is even more stunning in real life. When we arrived we were given a tour of the island on a buggy and a refreshing welcome drink. It was a smooth and quick check in and before we knew it we were in our room. The rooms are stunning. We chose the beach pool villa and the view we had to the ocean was fantastic. The outside space had plenty of seating and the snorkeling in the reef was outstanding, we saw a great variety of fish, including reef sharks and sting rays. If you get the bus across to the main island, you can go to see the manta rays on the jetty. We definitely needed a pool given how hot and humid it was, it was a great to cool down. The room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom being partially open air was really spacious. Our room attendant Saravanan was excellent and a special thanks goes to him for his attentiveness. The all inclusive we had included the room mini bar and this was well stocked each day, along with plenty of tea and coffee. We ate at the buffet restaurant each night, even though we had the choice of others, as there was plenty of variety and the food was absolutely gorgeous. A special thanks to Angga for doing the most tastiest noodles I have ever had, I never got bored of all the different flavours and he was such a friendly guy. The staff in the restaurant were also fabulous and went above and beyond, a special thanks to Duraj, Shamma and Vitalii, although everyone was fantastic. Yes the Maldives is pricier than some other destinations, however the service in the resort absolutely reflected this, the staff could not do enough for you. Quite simply the best place we have been to and we are already planning on when we can go back.

Wonderful resort

Just back from Olhuveli Romance and have to say that it is one of the best resorts I have ever been to.
Everybody is so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The cleaners and gardners work tirelessly to make the whole resort spotless. And the resturaunt and bar staff are superb at making your stay perfect. There are too many to mention so thank you to you all.
Special thanks to Kevan our guide/rep who was always on hand to help from the seemless arrival to departure and organising meals and trips.
The resort itself is fantastic, we booked to stay in a beach villa which was really nice but Kevan arranged an upgrade to an over water room, which was excellent.
The buffet was great, lots of choice so we didn't feel the need to upgrade to premium AI. Also ate at the Culliarium a couple of times, again lovely food and service.
Location was spot on and if you like marine life there was plenty right under your feet. I would recommend water shoes as a few sharp bits in the sand, and almost stood on a stingray.
We saw sea turtles in the lagoon everyday, and rays and sharks swimming under the room.
The dolphin cruise was good and saw lots of dolphins. The 3 point snorkelling was incredible, swimming alongside sea turtles and swimming with the sharks was just exhilarating.
Will definitely think about going back to this resort as was a wonderful and relaxing place
