In a China group tour, you will stay in well-selected 3-star hotels located in convenient areas at each destination. All hotels feature windows, air-conditioning, hot water, showers, and Wi-Fi to ensure a comfortable stay.

For travelers taking a Yangtze River cruise, the ship will provide relaxing experience, including comfortable accommodations between the Chongqing and Yichang section. For travelers visiting Mount Everest in Tibet, accommodations will be basic. You will stay at a camp or hostel at Mount Everest Base Camp.

You will share a standard twin room (two beds) with your travel partner. If you are traveling as a family of two, sharing the same room will be ideal. If you prefer to have your own room, a single room supplement will apply.

Important Trip Notes for Booking a China Group Tour

How do I book a China group tour?
Select your travel dates and click “join-in a tour”. You will get free enquiry and don’t need to pay immediately. After sending us your requirements, one of our professional travel experts will get back to you within 0.5 to 24 hours and we guarantee to reserve a place for you first. When all the information have confirmed, then you make the payment. Please feel free to contact the travel expert directly if you have any questions prior to booking.
Deadline for Booking a Group Tour:
The deadline for receiving guests is tentatively 7 days before departure. For trips to Tibet and the Yangtze River Three Gorges, the deadline is extended to 15 days before departure.
Transportation
In a group tour, it means you will transfer to the tourist attractions in one city by coach. The maximum group size will be 16 people. It will be a small group size traveling at comfortable pace. The coach we selected is spacious and comfortable. As for traveling between two destinations, we use domestic flights (economy seat) or high speed trains (second class seat, usually less than 6 hours). The local drivers will pick you up at the airport/train stations, and escort you to the hotel.
Meals
“B” stands for breakfast. You will have it at your hotel in the morning.
'L' stands for lunch. The restaurants we arrange are designated tourist restaurants approved by the local tourism administration. They maintain good sanitary conditions, and your guide will assist you in ordering dishes.
'D' stands for dinner. Please refer to the detailed itinerary for each day. Dinners are usually excluded, giving you the chance to try authentic Chinese food and local snacks. However, if you take the Yangtze River cruise, dinners will be included onboard. Similarly, if you are on a group tour to Tibet, dinner will be included when visiting Mount Everest Base Camp (including Tibetan hot pot).
If you have special dietary requirements (vegetarian, halal, kosher, Indian, or gluten-free), please let us know before your booking. We will try our best to take care of you.
Regarding Children's Fees:
(1) Occupying a bed: Children will be charged the adult rate. (2) Not occupying a bed: Children will be charged the group tour fee minus the single room difference. Any ticket discounts will be refunded.
Single Room Supplement:
If you are traveling alone and prefer a private room, a single room supplement will apply. Please contact our travel experts for the exact fee.
Free Pick-up & Drop-off Service:
(1) Free pick-up is available for flights/trains arriving between 08:00 and 22:00.
(2) Free drop-off is available for flights/trains departing between 09:00 and 23:00.
Additional Cost for Private Transfer:
(1) For arrival and departure transfers (1-2 persons): Early arrivals or late departures will incur an additional transfer fee.
(2) For flights arriving after 22:00 and departing before 09:00: An additional transfer fee will apply.

Happy and enjoyable journey
This is my first time experience going thru a tour group by communicating with Kayla, my planner. Everything was properly arranged. My 8days tour with Max our guide who is attentive, friendly and helpful by answering all my queries. Driver also very friendly. The trip with a minimum 1 - 2 sight-seeing per day was favorable to me as I was experiencing high altitude issue early of the journey. The group size of 14 people was indeed nice and everyone get along well. I am thankful to Asia Odyssey for having an itinerary that meet my expectation.

Excellent travel company!
I did the Beijing-Xi'an-Guillin-Yangtze river-Shanghai group tour in April 2024. The tour was well organised and the guides knew so much about each site. Vincent also helped me extend my trip to visit Suzhou and Hangzhou. At every destination I was met by knowledgeable helpful guides who went above and beyond their duty. The guides spent so many hours touring us around each city ensuring we got the best services and experiences offered. They also assisted us to taste the best street food at every location. The guides were essential in helping us navigate the high speed rail/airports and local taxis/didi. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone wishing to visit China! It's very helpful to have all your transportation and hotels organized by experienced staff.I enjoyed my month stay in China thanks to Asian odyssey!
