1. The Vibrant Express (动感号动车组),also referred to as the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL), exclusively serves the route between Guangzhou South and West Kowloon in Hong Kong. Given the brief travel time on this high-speed rail, usually between 50 minutes to an hour, amenities such as a dining car, business class seating, and deluxe class seating are not available on the train. G6581, G6583, G6585, and G6587 are Vibrant Express.

2. The Intelligent Bullet high-speed train (智能复兴号动车组) offers an enhanced passenger experience with a range of upgrades including automated vending machines in the dining car, accessible carriages for passengers with disabilities, high-speed 5G Wi-Fi, and a dedicated quiet carriage for a peaceful journey. G79 and G6501 are Intelligent Fuxing Bullet High-Speed trains.
