For international travelers, choosing the right cruise ship is often more important than choosing the route itself.

Most ships sail along similar sections of the Yangtze River, but the onboard experience, cabin quality, dining, atmosphere, and included excursions can vary greatly.

Based on our travelers' feedback over the past few years, these are the cruise brands we most recommend:

We had a wonderful 9-day here in Tibet all because of our lovely tour guide and new friend, Norbu. During the entire trip, Norbu showed us so much about this beautiful land of Tibet, from natural landscape, to arts and culture, to the delicious food. Norbu was very kind to always check in with my mom and aunt to ensure they are comfortable with the high elevation. It was very considerate of Norbu to bring extra handheld oxygen into Potala Palace and Namtso for us. He was also very generous to bring us Lucky Flags to put on top of La Ghen La and Karuola glaciers. We have been so lucky to have met Norbu and have his company during our trip. Thank you Norbu! We recommend this experience to anyone who would like to explore Tibet. We visited Lhasa, Nyingchi, Basongcuo, Namtso, Shigatse, and Damxung. read more

Visiting Seoul was an incredible cultural experience. From the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace to the bustling streets of Insadong, I felt immersed in both the old and new Korea. The blend of traditional tea houses and modern cafes was fascinating. The highlight for me was watching the changing of the guard ceremony at the palace and strolling through Bukchon Hanok Village. The city is full of life, history, and incredible food. A must-visit for any traveler! read more
