Adaaran Meedhupparu, a property under the Adaaran Hotels group, is a well-established all-inclusive resort known for its snorkeling, seaplane transfers, and value for money. It was part of the earliest all-inclusive resorts in the Maldives, alongside Central Grand, Lily Island, and Kanifushi Island. The resort boasts beautiful beaches and numerous snorkeling spots. It is an excellent choice for families, honeymooners, and snorkeling enthusiasts.
Situated in the Raa Atoll, Adaaran Meedhupparu can be reached by a 40-minute seaplane ride or by taking a domestic flight followed by a speedboat transfer. The resort offers affordable Beach Villas, which are 4-star standard, and impressive Water Villas, which are 5-star standard but relatively more expensive. Both villa types are semi-detached and initially assigned on a one-villa-per-guest basis. Beach Villas from 101 to 168 have no wave breakers and boast spacious and pristine beaches. Villas from 169 to 248 have wave breakers but are still close to the shoreline with gentle waves. Beyond Villa 249, the wave breakers create a segmented private beach, though the sand quality is rougher, and there are fewer fish and corals compared to the northern side. For snorkeling enthusiasts, it is recommended to choose Beach Villas from 101 to 168 for proximity to marine life. For those who prefer sunbathing and photography, Beach Villas from 249 onwards are recommended. There are only 20 Water Villas, numbered from 801 to 820, arranged in a semi-circular layout with glass floors. Villas 809-812 offer a great location, as they are close to the ocean trench with easy access to coral reefs.
As the resort operates on an all-inclusive basis, dining is unrestricted. The Beach Villas feature buffet-style dining with a wide variety of predominantly Western dishes. The Water Villas offer à la carte Western cuisine, with meals typically taking over an hour. However, guests can also enjoy the buffet-style dining at the Beach Villas if preferred.

Cost & Budget: Depending on the price, there are different levels of quality, with the Maldives offering a range from relatively affordable accommodations to ultra-luxurious options. The most basic are a 4-star resorts, and then the categories rise to 5-star, 6-star, and 7-star levels.
Travel Purpose: Consider the purpose of your trip and who you are traveling with—friends, family, or as a couple. Understanding your travel purpose and needs will help you select the most suitable accommodation for your Maldives experience.

Consider your dining preferences and whether you'd like to explore different cuisine options within the resort.
