Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa: A New Ultra-Five-Star Deluxe All-Inclusive Resort

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, a member of the Emerald Collection, is a new ultra-five-star all-inclusive luxury resort that opened on August 1, 2019. Located on Raa Atoll in the northern part of the Maldives archipelago, this resort is set on a lush private island spanning 20 hectares, surrounded by a beautiful 100-hectare lagoon which also boasts one of the best coral reefs in the Maldives, making it a hub for nature and tropical ecosystems. Guests can reach the resort by a 40-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport, or alternatively, by a 30-minute domestic flight to Ifuru Domestic Airport followed by a 30-minute speedboat ride.

The resort features 120 modern and luxurious tropical villas, split equally between 60 beach villas and 60 ocean villas. The villas are spacious, with sizes ranging from a minimum of 127 square meters to a maximum of 708 square meters, and are equipped with amenities from the French brand L'Occitane. Additionally, the resort offers four restaurants and two bars. The all-inclusive package includes three meals a day along with unlimited beverages and snacks, plus two guided snorkeling sessions and sea excursions per week. A standout feature of the resort is its 1500 square meter kids club, which includes a large outdoor playground, various indoor activity rooms, a children's restaurant, and a swimming pool. The resort's beaches are also notable, with an approximate 80% encircling ratio and an average width of 10-15 meters, making it an excellent choice for family vacations.

A dream hotel in the middle of paradise

Experiencing Maledives in Emerald Hotel was more than amazing! It was truly my dream holiday. The island is beautiful and the hotel is just perfect. The organization of the place is spot on. Luxury water villas are a great choice if you like to swim in the ocean coming straight from your bedroom. When we got to the hotel we had a personal host who took care of us perfectly- so here I would like to thank Min, our host who was helpful, professional and really friendly. We were impressed by the staff here- top professionals and super friendly. We were especially impressed by the food - both Aqua main restaurant and those a la carte were delicious and the products were top quality. Congratulations to the Chef for creating outstanding menu and executing it so well. Additionally, the wine list is verious and everyone will find their favorite wine as well as drinks. Villa was cleaned twice a day and water was refilled regularly to the room. Many thanks to all the staff for welcoming us in Emerald. Definitely will be back next year.

My husband and I booked this resort for our honeymoon, and it was the most amazing experience ever! Everything was beyond our imagination - from the food, to the villa, to the people. The food was amazing at every restaurant on the resort! We were excited to wake up every morning and head to breakfast where we befriended Perla, who was so nice and always recommending different types of foods to try. Our villa was cleaned every day by the sweetest man. The staff was so kind, always greeting us warmly. Our butler, Wisham, was quick to respond to our requests and was always there whenever we needed anything at all. He was very accommodating, at no cost, for our early check in and late check out due to our flight times. The hospitality that he provided was beyond our expectations! We loved this whole experience and have no complaints. Thank you, Emerald Maldives, for making our honeymoon so special!
