Took a day trip to Luoyang with Asia Odyssey from Xi’an. The entire trip was well managed and proper instructions were given on how to board the train. Upon arrival at Louyang, was met by tour leader, Jenny. Was taken to the amazing Longmen Groettoes and then Shaolin temple in the afternoon. Both attractions were interesting, scenic and a must go if you come to Luoyang. Not being able to understand and read Chinese, we were grateful to have Jenny with us. She provided clear explanations on each cave, each site and each attraction and it is a different experience after having an understanding of the history. After completing the attractions, was driven to Luoyang Tran station. As we were early, Jenny helped us changed our train tickets to earlier schedule and even accompanied us into the station to show us which platform to board the train. Hats off to her for the extra effort! If you are a non chinese tourist, I will strongly recommend Asia Odyssey and Jenny… read more
