My trip to Tibet was quite amazing. About half a year in advance I already wrote an Email to Asia Odyssey, showing interest in a Tibet trip. Soon afterwards, I was contacted by a personal travel consultant Kyle Li. Kyle took care of everything and worked out the perfect trip for me. He organised all the permits I needed to visit Tibet and the many beautiful sights there. When I couldn't find any more train tickets from Xining, Qinghai, to Lhasa, Tibet, he was able to get me a ticket in no time at all. Keep in mind, this was during the chinese summer holidays, when millions, if not tens of millions of people are on the move.Everything in Tibet was also taken care of. We had a great tour guide there, called Lobsang. Lobsang was with us all the way through the end. He could tell us many amazing things about Tibet and about the sights ww visited. It was also really nice, hanging out with the other members of the tour group.I don't think I'll ever forget my night at the Everest Base Camp, which has been one of, if not the most amazing experience of my life. Remember though, that there is no guarantee that you will see Everest, since the view from the Base Camp is highly dependent on the weather. We got lucky though. read more

We booked a 15 day group tour from Beijing to Shanghai followed by a 4 day private tour to Suzhou and Hangzhou. Charles was our consultant from AOT. He handled everything from the initial requests and bookings and also kept contact throughout the trip via WeChat. Everything went like clockwork. We had a fantastic time in China filled with new experiences. I highly recommend AOT and expect to book with them on my next visit to China. read more
