However, don't forget the "30-minute transit." Because Gyeongju Station is built 12 km outside the city, you'll spend about 30 minutes getting to the station from downtown.
Even with that extra transit time, it's still the most efficient way to travel if you hate traffic and want a smooth ride. This is best for business travelers or couples from Gyeongju to Busan.
